Mid Island Animal Hospital

Dr. Kornet and the staff have cared for our Bella since she was a pup. For the past year she has been treated for low platelets, which is a very serious condition. This December marks one year of continuous treatment. I'm happy to say that she is doing well and has been given a fighting chance to recover from this condition only through the dedication of Dr. Kornet and the entire staff. I could not be happier with the treatment she has received. Best veterinary hospital, I would never go any other place.

I am very pleased with Dr Kornet. He takes his time to explain what he needs to do. He is proactive and a very good listener.

Dr. Kornet and the staff at Mid Island Animal Hospital exemplify the highest level of professionalism and care for both our furry family members and their humans. Every interaction with them reflects the devotion they have towards providing both expertise and concern for their patients. All practice good communication skills, patience and dedication to the veterinary profession. I have no concerns about placing my best friends in their care.

Dr. Kornet and the entire staff are the most compassionate people! We came in as an emergency and with proper and professional treatment, we left 4 days later with a completely different dog. Happy to say, Maggie will be celebrating her "12th" birthday next week due to the amazing care at Mid Island Animal Hospital!

I have been been taking my pets to Mid Island for the past 24 years. Dr. Kornet is such a kind and caring doctor and is a pleasure to deal with, as well as the other doctors on staff. The vet techs and office workers are also very helpful and truly love the pets. I would recommend them to anyone who loves their pets and wants excellent care.

They are always very accommodating to my needs and my pets. They're always willing to squeeze you in when the pets need to be seen right away. The whole staff is very friendly & are so helpful and kind. I love all the doctors- Vets there. They are so knowledgeable and great to all the people and of course the pets. I wouldn't trade going to this practice ever.

I have had dogs all my life, and moved from state to state frequently. This is by far the best Vet I have ever been to. Dr Croscio is kind and thorough. She always takes time to call as well. Everyone there loves animals and they are always pleasant and receptive on the phone and in person. I highly recommend Mid Island(I drive 30 minutes to go there, and I have plenty of other options closer to home)

We love Dr. Raciti! We used to live in Hicksville and moved to Howard Beach, Queens. We still continue to travel to Mid Island Animal Hospital, because we know our pets are in the best hands and will receive the BEST and HONEST care at a reasonable price! She is thorough, and caring. From taking care of our Rosie the cat who passed away to now Chloe our yorkie puppy.

We always knew our pets were in good hands. Rosie was not a healthy cat, found as a little kitten on the street with chronic sinus issues that consisted all the way to adulthood, kidney issues and then when she had cancer, the loss of Rosie at approximately 4 years old was hard to cope with. Dr. Raciti was accurate, fair and caring through the entire process.

Now with our Chloe', we found out she has a heart murmur (which will hopefully improve as she matures). Dr. Raciti takes things one step at a time, starting with the least intrusive and best care with best practice in mind. We know how much she loves what she does as it shows through her caring and kind way. She is always accurate with her assessment, knowledgeable and realistic when it comes to presenting options when our pets are sick.

We never feel pushed or rushed with any decisions or challenges presented our way. This is not just a business but the people at Mid Island Animal Hospital really do care. I wish my own doctor had the same qualities that Dr. Raciti possesses Lol! I'm still searching. overall experience 10.

My family has used Mid Island Animal Hospital for over 30 years. I believe that tells you how wonderful I think all the doctors and staff are at this facility. They have always been caring and concerned about our animals throughout the years. I trust them fully to care for my dogs as if they were their own pets. I highly recommend Mid Island Animal Hospital.

Love this animal hospital! The vets, the assistants and the office personnel are all professionals. They all genuinely care about the animals. I had to change vets a few years ago because the vets at another place kept on missing things. So far, my Duke has been treated extremely well and remains very healthy. I recommend them fully and without reservation.
