They save my cat life and I'm very grateful. My cat had tumor that was growing very fast. Tumor was removed in 100% and my cat is doing great and got many years of happy life. I got best price for surgery compare to other estimates in the area.

I would strongly urge people to stay away from this vet. I switched to this practice after I moved into my new house because it's relatively close. They were also recommended by a friend. However, the doctor my friend previously used no longer works there. I tried multiple doctors at this practice but my experience was never good. They don't seem to care about anything other than selling you products and charging for services.

The doctors don't read the file prior to you entering and have no idea what is going on with your pets. The whole place is completely unorganized and they often provide you with wrong information that results in multiple visits. The women at the front desk are the best thing about this place. They are typically empathetic and helpful. You can also tell they despise the vets and practice because they often tell you where you can get things cheaper. Too many things to document but let this post serve as your warning. There are many vets around who do a much better job for the same (or less) money.

All I have to say is since Dr. Rosen and Henry left it hasn't been the same. Been going there for over 20 yrs and as of last night will be visiting another vet. Called to ask the vet about a suggestion on a wheelchair for my dog which by the way was diagnosed with arthritis with no testing done, received a call back a day and a half later from someone who was not the doctor telling me the doctor has no suggestions on wheelchairs.

I felt like the doctor couldn't be bothered. I am done. By the way called another office, they researched a wheelchair for me which I thought was very nice of them. Too bad where I bring my dog couldn't take the time out to do that.

The whole staff is fantastic, they make you feel like your pet is their own pet. My family has taken our cats and dogs to DPAH for at least 25 years and we would never think of changing this.

Love DPAH. Have been bringing my own pets and foster pets (for rescue) there since 2011. Desk staff, vet techs and vets are all excellent and caring individuals. They always call promptly with test results, etc. I now live over 30 miles away and still drive to DPAH - does that say it all?

Absolutely horrible place. Do not take your pet here if you want them to survive. My dog was having a seizure/barely responsive and they are the closest hospital to us so I called them and told them I was bringing him in 2 minutes and gave her his symptoms and the girl on the phone put me on hold and came back about a minute later and said I'm sorry you can't bring him here because we're closing soon.

They do not care at all for your animals and I will never bring my pet there if they were the last hospital around. They care more about closing and leaving on time than a potentially dying pet with a panicked owner. Absolutely disgusted. We brought him to West Hills Animal Hospital in Huntington and they are the absolute best and in the end I'm thankful we brought our baby there instead. PS.

They wrote a response asking me to call so I did right after and was told no one is even around to speak to me. The responses on the reviews are all for show. Such a disappointment.

Since Dr. Rosen left, the quality of care my pet has received has been mediocre at best. While I realize they are reorganizing, one doctor misdiagnosed my dog and another kept me waiting over half hour in the car for his appointment. The only thing they have going for them is the friendliness and professionalism of the front desk team. I have been with Deer Park Animal Hospital for over 30 years and now looking for another veterinary practice. I would not recommend them, they lost my trust and confidence.

I have an older dog who is experiencing some health issues especially this past year and i feel confident that they are able to take care of my dog with all his medical needs using their own staff or referring me to specialist. I know he is getting the very best care possible. I want to thank them for taking such good care of my dog.

I would not entrust my babies to anyone except Deer Park Animal Hospital! 100% the best vet I have ever dealt with. I even moved far away and I will travel at all costs for Dr Goeders. Her colleagues and staff also are hands down the most caring and understanding group I have ever had take care of my little ones. Definitely a place everyone should consider for their furry loved ones!

Yesterday, my mom and I had to put our dog to sleep. As we all know, nothing is normal or easy during this pandemic. The staff here were more than kind, extremely empathetic, and humane. We were allowed to be with our beloved dog while she passed and due to their bedside manner, for a minutes, we were able to forget about the virus and focus on the love we had for our dog. Thank you to all the vets, vet techs, and personnel here. Your kindness goes a long way to remembering who we are as people. Go with the wind, my beloved Chuti
