Dr. Sarah E. Guttery is originally from Jacksonville, FL. She grew up in Dunwoody, GA where she developed her love for animals and life long ambition to become a veterinarian. Dr. Guttery attended Auburn University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1987 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1990.
As a new client of Port St. John Veterinary Hospital in Port St. John, Florida, you can expect our full attention to your pets' needs. Our service will be provided with courtesy and respect. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we will usher you into an examination room as soon as we have one available.

I have been going here for years, since having my childhood cat. Going to doctors in general is kind of confusing for anyone not knowledgable in medicine (like me). I am the type of person to stress about small things when it comes to medication and always want to make sure im doing everything 100% correct. So you can imagine the amount of times i call and ask the dumbest questions.
Not once have i been treated poorly here. The front desk staff are the friendliest people in town. The have made the process of my cat going through heart failure significantly lighter on me with their kindness. I cannot stress how much i appreciate the desk staff, and vets. You guys are the best!

Love Dr. Steven's & the staff is very kind & accommodating. My dog is very difficult & they all were able to treat her without any problems. I have to say that they have very decent prices. There service is top notch in my book! That's hard to say being a retired vet tech. I would have loved to work with their team. Love you guys at PSJ Animal Hospital!

Dr. Stevens is the best! Everyone at Port St. John Veterinary Hospital is so welcoming and they take great care of my two cats! They went above and beyond when my boy broke his lower jaw; made sure he got plenty of love while he stayed there and made sure we had everything we needed when he went home. They even showed me how to give him his pain injection so we could do it at home. I can't say enough good things about them!

This place is awesome. Dr. Stevens and the rest of the staff and doctors or really great. I have my 14 year olds cat Mr Prince he's going strong and very healthy thanks to the tender loving care at Port St John veterinarian. He had jaundice of the liver and almost didn't make it. But with much treatment and care he pulled through. I can't thank them enough for all that they do, and will continue to do for us all. April 23, 2020 Updated: yesterday's visit was positive. Prince is 17 years old now and doing well with the excellent care he received from Dr. Steven.
