Willow Rock Pet Hospital We would like to introduce ourselves as the new owners and veterinarians of Willow Rock Pet Hospital: Dr. Omar Cabrera and Dr. Aileen Thompson. You may notice the support team you know and have worked with for years is the same. All of the employees that were previously here with Dr. Carstens are staying to embark on this journey with us. We are flattered that Dr. Carstens reached out to us directly when he was ready to retire. He believes we will be a good fit for his practice, and he knew that will we strive to continue the good work he started at Willow Rock so many years ago.

WAS fabulous service. Loved the vet and the staff. Just took our cat in today and was charged way more than they used to charge. Turns out the original vet sold the practice. This vet tried to convince us that our cat is stressed. Nothing has changed in his life in the last 2 years at all. He cuddles u, cuddles our kids, plays with the other cats that he has known forever. Food hasn't changed nothing. He obviously had a UTI, not stress. So they charged us way more and for unnecessary things. We will be finding a new vet for all of our pets.

I have been taking our family there for 7 years. Loved the staff and Dr. Carstens! Amazing.our dogs loved them too. One of our dogs used to freak out at the vet and isn't friendly with strangers. But she always willingly went to Dr. Cartens, she never nipped or barked. It is now under new management/ownership. So far all experiences have been terrible.

One of our dogs has a serious medical condition that requires medicine twice a day. We called when we had 4 days left of the prescription. We called, got placed on hold for 20 mins, then hung up on, then called back to be told we would have to wait 72 hours. We called back a couple days later (Friday) and were told we had to wait until the following week.

I explained that the medication isn't one you are supposed to stop and start. I was told "unfortunately that is the policy." If they are this careless with continuity of care I certainly don't trust them to care for my loved ones or perform dental cleanings or surgeries. We miss Dr. Carstens and his amazing staff.

I am a new pet owner and I asked around about the best vet in town, and several times I was referred to willow rock. Then there was a change in ownership and long standing clients of willow rock were disappointed in this change which created some uncertainty about my choice to go with them, but I already had my appointment scheduled with them and no other vet was accepting appointments when I needed it.

So I decided to give them a shot. I thought the office was clean, the staff was friendly, the prices, reasonable, and the vet, Dr. Dial, was patient and reasonable and took a lot of time with me and my new puppy. I did not feel rushed or just another client. I felt like he really wanted to make sure we were informed and my puppy had a great healthy start with all the preventative measures.

I opted for the puppy package and I do feel it is reasonably priced. (Probably a big change from the previous vet's prices, but everything is going up). I then received a follow up call to check in with how my puppy was feeling after his vaccines. What a nice touch! I am a new dog owner so I do not experience elsewhere, but I am happy with the decision.

We have been going to Willow Rock for 25 years, it pains me to write a bad review. The new owners are not okay. DO NOT let the office staff tell you they are short staffed. I have been calling for a month now and each time I have been put on a 20+ minute hold. I have an aging dog that needs medication and they ARE NOT willing to help. We miss you Dr. C and staff!

I've been going to Willow Rock for over 20 years. It has been a wonderful relationship with doctor and staff until recently. The vet is extremely caring, easy to talk to and will work with the owners to do what is best for you pet. Recently I called to make an appointment for my dog who had injured his ear. After being on hold for over 15 minutes, I hung up and called back.

Without asking the nature of the visit, I was informed the soonest appointment was over 4 weeks out. When I spoke to the lead staff (not the regular staff) about it, I was told that's just the way it was. When I asked if I needed to find a new vet, I was asked where to send the records to. I'm so disappointed and feel like just a number and the relationship built over the past 20 plus years was for nothing. Very sad day. Not how to do business.

After going here for 7 years, new ownership took over. Waited on phone for 25 minutes to try to make an appointment for what looks to be an infection on my dogs stomach. I was told I could bring her in next week as a "drop off" appointment, this is not what my 16 year old dog needs, going to Vet is stressful enough but to sit and wait all day to be seen when the Dr. has time or I could get an appointment 4 weeks from now for what looks to be an infection. I have been the biggest fan of Willow Rock from day 1, now that Dr. Carsten has left the service is obviously not the same. Will be looking elsewhere.

After going here for many years we have to now find a new vet. SinceDr Carsten retired and Willow Rock was bought out by Blue Oaks Vet, I've read many reviews about how much higher their prices are now, but decided to call anyway since I know Dr C was unusually affordable. My dog has an eye infection and the earliest appointment they were offering was more than a month from now. For an eye infection. Higher prices is one thing, but it seems they have no regard for existing patients or for animal health. So disappointing.

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. My dog has congestive heart failure. After the Blue Oaks Vets bought Dr. C practice, I have called multiple times and was even hung up on. I called back and wouldn't let them put me on a 25 min hold and they took my number still no call back. I have made comments on their Facebook Posts and no reply except to school me for talking bad about their lack of response.

Now I know why they bought his patient list because they couldn't build their own practice. Dr. C didn't tell any of his chronically I'll patients who get their meds filled monthly probably because he knew he would lose patients. Now I am scrambling to find a caring vet like to help keep my fur baby alive. HOW DO I GET MY DOGS MEDICINE because she WILL DIE WITHOUT IT?
