Was referred here by my old vet. My first experience from start to end was great. The vet and receptionists were patient, very informative and caring. Dr. Tenster was nice, thorough and answered all of our questions. Our wait time was quick, parking in back is good (but a bit tricky to find so ask), big clean waiting room, clean bathrooms and free coffee.
Small back story on why we went. Found a small kitten on our porch with bad back legs. She was friendly so we took her in to get tested to find our why she was so unbalanced and shaky. Dr. Tenster tested her for leukemia and she was negative!

Wonderful pet care! I've taken all of my cats there for many years. I usually see Dr. Steve who is soo extremely caring with my cats and is such a good, kind doctor. I've had only positive experiences with the other doctors as well. Their staff is always so nice, so patient, so helpful with making/changing appointments, update calls. They all handled the pet drop offs and care so well during the Covid shut down, still caring for our pets. The parking is so easy and the waiting room is large and comfortable I cannot say enough good about VMC! I highly recommend.

We have been going to VMC for 5 years with our pet. Recently we scheduled a vaccine for her and was scheduled for 2 appointments - one dose first and second dose 4 weeks later. When we called to confirm the 2nd dose, we were told that we couldn't get the 2nd dose unless we also booked a yearly exam with VMC. We informed them that we already had an annual exam 3 months ago with our dog's specialist.
They refused to let us come in for the 2nd dose saying they need to be the one to give her the exam. So we were stuck with 2 choices - 1. not having our dogs full vaccine (with the 2nd dose) or 2. Pay for the expensive annual exam (which we already paid for at a different specialist vet. The frustrating part is that the staff keep saying it's someone else's fault ( a new person being trained) instead of giving a solution like a complimentary exam or waiving the exam by getting the record from our other vet.
Pet owners should be informed beforehand if an expensive exam is required prior to vaccination. I'm thoroughly disappointed in the way we were treated and this is with us bringing both our dogs there for the last 5 years. Disclaimer: we love our dogs vet and he has always been kind and a great vet. Our problem is with the front desk staff who plays the blame game refuses to give our dog her second dose of the vaccine. It's still wrong to spring a costly exam on pet parents but especially not ok during tough economic times.

I wish I could give more stars. As a pet mom I feel like it's very hard to find a place that truly cares about your pet! I've been struggling to find a vet place for my cat ever since I moved here. She gets major anxiety at the vet and can be aggressive because of it. Other vets weren't patient, nice or attentive to her. It got so bad to the point where I stopped taking her for check ups.
My client told me about this place and I'm soooo happy I went! I finally found a place that not only has a super friendly atmosphere and staff but vets that KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! Dr. Tentster is amazing! Not only was he patient, but he was very informative and educational. The woman that took my cats temperature and weight was super nice as well, and the receptionist, and the vet that took my cat to the back to get her nails cut.
Everyone was so nice that I noticed my cats energy was different! She was more calm and not aggressive lol. She even let them cut her nails with no issue which has literally been a first! I definitely recommend this place! Everyone is super nice and they truly care about your pet! I won't be going anywhere else!

Dr. Steve Aboulafia and all of his clinic staff were so compassionate toward my recently adopted rescue dog. It's a bit of a drive to get here from where I live, but I will be sticking with this vet practice since it is so excellent. Also they are very transparent about prices and made the experience seamless.

Our beautiful girl She-Ra saw Dr. Steve since she joined our family in 2006. This morning, we made the very painful decision to help her across the rainbow bridge. I drove her myself to make this transition and the service they gave us was amazing. Dr. Steve and Reinaldy have been my therapists and friends since 2006 and I can not recommend this practice enough for anyone who wants a loving veterinarian for their fur babies. Even in the current unusual times we are in, they went the extra mile for our family. Thank you for all you did for our girl, and for us.

I have been going to Dr. Steve with my fur babies for close to 30 years. He’s just the best along with his entire staff. I always tell him I wish he was my doctor because the level of care and compassion is beyond what you get with human doctors. Thank you VMC for providing the best quality of life for my kitties through the years.

I have been bringing Duffy, my Mini Schnauzer, to Dr. Steve for the past 2 years. Every time he has treated us with the most professional and caring service. Dr Steve is compassionate and very gentle. Never once has Duffy barked and growled at Dr. Steve. It's like he knows everything is going to be alright the moment Dr. Steve enters the room. We've always felt relaxed, even during an emergency we had last November when Duffy suffered a herniated disc and was temporarily paralyzed. If you are looking for a new vet give Dr. Steve a try. You and your pet won't be disappointed.

Excellent doctors. When your pet needs attention and your usual vet might be off, the entire staff at VMC is just as good as the next one. It's rare to find a vet where all the doctors are top-notch, but VMC is certainly one of the rare gems. My doggy LOVES coming here, and everyone is very friendly. Price is second to service when it comes to our beloved pets, but even their prices are fair, especially considering the high level of care and expertise here at VMC.
