Brought my kitty olive in for a re check exam. I was told 2 weeks before at the original exam which was $168 there wouldn't be any charge for the re exam it would be free. She was taken to the back checked out and without my consent they did work on her and then decided they were gonna charge me for it when I checked out. shady

Rude staff. I was asked not to come back by a woman who claimed to be the manager that I complained to about customer service by Amanda. They said nobody by that name works here now, but that was the name I was given over the phone. When I asked to speak to a manager, she kept threatening to call the police on me because I wanted to report bad customer service.

When I called back on a weekday to report the harassment by Amanda to Kimberly who claimed to be the manager at the time, she said they would appreciate it if I didn't come on the premises. I am no longer welcome here over a phone call that I reported to the manager over for bad customer service. This happened in January 2019.

I can't say enough great things about the vets here. My cat is currently struggling with a near fatal disease, and Dr. Prater has been instrumental in her recovery. They are able to balance care and quality of life in a way that I haven't seen too often. I've been so happy coming here and of all the cats I've had (4 now) this is by far the best vet practice I've been to.

The prices are reasonable and their treatment approach is practical and empathetic for both pets and pet parents. The staff has always been extremely supportive and accommodating for my pet Pepper, they are all wonderful. I can't recommend them enough.

Charged me $500 for a senior dog bloodwork and urinalysis when every other vet in the area charges between $150-200. They blamed my wife for agreeing to the price instead of explaining why they charge more than 200% more than other vets in the area for the same service. "That's just what we set our prices at" was the best response I got in quoting literal competitors that are right around the corner and in asking why they overcharge by so much.

Already found a new vet that's closer to my house and also charges $20 less for the appointment itself ($60 instead of $80) in addition to not charging anything close to $500 for a senior bloodwork & urine panel. They said their cost for what SCVH charged me would have been $140-170, or about $330-360 less than we paid by using SCVH.

We've been going here for nearly three years since we moved to the area. They cared for our late seniors all the way to the end, and now we've been bringing in our new rescue bonded pair! Doesn't matter which doctor we see, they have all been incredible for our pups. The receptionists are always amazing, and the techs clearly love what they do. Had to bring my little guy in for a gnarly toenail injury today, and I was luckily able to get in 30 minutes after opening. He was cleaned up, bandaged, and ready to go within the hour! Thank you for everything you do!

Absolutely the best vet I have ever been to. They took care of my aging Labrador retriever for years. He had the very best medical care. They are extremely patient and willing to talk through treatment options before making decisions to do things. They give estimates before they do any service, which I loved. Before COVID their offices, in my opinion, are much more conducive to anxiety ridden dogs because of their floor layout. Every person in the hospital is professional and they all love animals dearly. They are also an AAHA accredited hospital. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I would've given it 5 stars but they gave me my dog back looking like a wet mop. I understand that his ears had to be cleaned and that is understandable. But I had recently had him groomed. I did let the person know and they dried him as best as they could but I just wasnt satisfied I love this place because they do take care of your pet very well

I've been to a hold of different Animal Hospitals / Vets looking for quality care, from trained professionals, who aren't out to nickle and dime you for every little thing. I'm happy to say that I've found the place and have been coming here with my dog for years now. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I couldn't be happier.

The folks that work here are truly special. I rescued a little sick puppy and these guys helped me make some tough decisions. They cleaned my puppies ears out, helped chase off the fleas he was covered in, get rid of two different kinds of worms, and pain stakingly remove over 50 ticks. With their help I am happy to report the puppy is doing well and survived.

During our follow up appointment every member of the staff came to check on the puppy and was truly happy that he was doing well. I have been to several Vets in the valley but I drive from Porter Ranch just to see these guys. THEY CARE!
