Dr. Hank Hall opened Northside Animal Hospital in January of 1976. We are a well-established hospital that treats all of our clients and pets with care and compassion. We have our five experienced veterinarians on staff: Dr. Matt Clardy, Dr. John Bloszies, Dr, JoAnne Brown, Dr. Stacia Twarog, and Dr. Rachel Waterman.
Annual dental exams and cleanings are recommended to protect your pet from many health problems and help them maintain a healthy and clean mouth. Proper diet and nutrition can help your pet fight against disease, maintain a proper weight, and promote the overall well-being of your pet. Annual wellness exams evaluate your pets overall health, detect problems before they become serious, and keep them on track to live a long, healthy life. We're equipped to perform routine radiography services to identify many types of illness or injury when pets are sick or suffer a trauma.
We have put together this packet in order to make surgery day as easy and stress-free as possible. It is required you print and initial the last two page if your pet is undergoing surgery. My crazy schedule makes it difficult to make appointments, but I got in on a Saturday morning! Didn't wait long and all my concerns were addressed, taking care of immediate issues and scheduling a necessary future surgery. In and out in about an hour to hour and a half (partly waiting on results of a test). Obviously caring, friendly staff. Only thing close to a complaint is the hit my wallet took.

Facility has most services in-house, appointments on Saturday, and staff are friendly, timely and very informative. They are also very helpful. The veterinarian that I spoke to was very informative and sweet as well. They might just be the best facility in Columbus at the moment. They took care of my baby and let me sign up as a new client after a less than stellar experience with another vet locally (staff were great, but just very limited availability, no Saturday services for working pet parents and few in-house services). The prices at this facility are also cheaper than nearby facilities which is surprising considering the quality of care. :) all around, excellent services.

Northside veterinarian went above and beyond to save my dogs life and to help me in my need of time. Words can't even describe how thankful I am for them to take me in treat me like family and also treat my sweet beautiful Micah like she also was part of the family. If you are in need of any type of help recommend them 100% they are affordable reliable and very knowledgeable.
My baby needed 24/7 hour care and Mrs. Vicky took my baby in and with in day she was better. I am so thankful for them. Thank you so very much. they need 100 stars. Wonderful place.

Called the office on April 6, 2022 to discuss allergy meds, how long my baby would be on this medication, and to see if I could get it in different quantity of what I was given 14 pills for $49.00. Because there online pricing and quantity was different than in the office. Called April 7, 2022 and was told that Dr. Stewart would call me during lunch hour, but I never received a call back that day. Friday April 8, still no call back from Dr. Stewart, so I gave them a call that afternoon to request my baby records. I realize I had to just find another vet for my baby. Maybe she was busy and just forgot who knows. Anyway my baby is getting the care he needs.

They're a little more expensive than some places. They have excellent vets though. That actually care and take time with your pet. Microchipping there is 65.00, where as some places only charge 16 to 45.00 for that service. They only down side is if your pet needs a city tag, registration, you have to go to paws now, they no longer do that.

Recently I brought my dog in after a very early morning seizure/stroke, and they helped us bring her inside before they were technically even open. Our vet kept us informed on exactly what to expect during and after the stay, and the staff was super accommodating about letting me visit her, giving me updates about how she was doing/what mischief she was getting into, and letting us get her up to date on her shots during the same visit. Tech Mackenzie was an angel.

I wish there was a way to give -10 stars! NEVER EVER take your animal there if you care about them at all! My mother has been a loyal customer for several years since rescuing a senior (7 years) miniature schnauzer. She gets Maggie's teeth cleaned every year there. This year has a new vet. This completely insane woman sees fit to pull 15 of Maggie's teeth without consulting my mother.
I can understand a few teeth, but 15? My mom is 70 years old and lives on fixed income. Not to mention Maggie's is whimpering and whining and can't give her medication. I have never witnessed such inhumane acts from a vet. They are bottom-dwellers and I hope they rot in hell for the anguish they have caused. Absolutely cruel . I have several forms of social media and more than 19K followers. I will do my best to ruin this vet clinic.

Very expensive seemed like all they cared about was making sure they had there money up front.my pup was in need of help and still if I didn't have the money he was to be sent home without care. Yea my dog was taken care of after i paid the 2000 plus. but when it came to the cost I had to open a credit card to pay for it that it was so expensive.

The staff is friendly and takes care of my 2 year old, 8 pound Yorkie. They did her spay surgery. I was VERY happy with it. : No complications, nice incision, she recovered well. I loved how the doctor had a converstation with me prior to the surgery and answered any questions or concerns I had. The only thing is, I think it's time to upgrade to a bigger building or maybe include some renovations. But honestly, I do not mind so much because the service is AMAZING. And I rather have great service over the latest and greatest.
