Vca Lakewood Animal Hospital - Bruce King

Have misdiagnosed pets in the past and not looked into our concerns for our late pet. Also, the cashier was extremely condescending to my mother when she asked how much a blood work test for our dog would be. This was today (June 6th) around 2:00-2:30pm, with whoever was the receptionist. My mom asked the question and she replied with something like "the way I think of it is how many pairs of jeans is it worth", making fun of my mother for having money concerns.

It turned out to be over $200, which she KNEW and yet still made fun of my mother. I'm concerned about how she treats other customers (and fellow workers) who have less money than her privileged self. I'm hoping this is a fluke, a one time thing (for both issues mentioned), but my family would rather not come here again unless we have to. The doctors are all nice and treat pets well, at least from our experience!

Good vet. They don't hide things so what they quote you is what they pay.

We loved taking our dog KD to Lakewood Animal Clinic. All the staff are amazingly helpful and caring. The Doctors are extremely knowledgeable. We are very lucky to have a clinic like this in Regina.

This vet hospital went all out for our dog Frankie. We had moved from another vet due to poor service. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to book appointments, speak to someone on the phone and visit the clinic. In our dogs assessment we were not pressured to put him through extra diagnostic tests and we were not forced to spend extra money on pet immunizations that our dog didn't need.

When our dogs health declined we were given the option to give him treatments at home so he did not have to stay at the clinic. The staff were efficient and courteous and taught me how to administer my pets hydration. The clinic as there for us when our pet passed away, they were very compassionate and helpful. We truly appreciated the wonderful care that this vet clinic offered.

This in my opinion is the best veterinarian office in Regina. They are so compassionate, do not push you to do unnecessary treatment for extra money and also support raw feeding and also do not push prescription rx diets on your pets. I wish they were in the east though;

The staff are all amazing! My doggo has been at this clinic for about 7 years and now a kitten/(cat) has been there for a year. They both have been treated like royalty there! The staff will take the time to listen to your concerns, and will give helpful advice along with the best care for your family.

They are a great bunch at Lakewood, very knowledgeable and understanding, they always have the animal's best interest in mind. I take my dog George here, and he always receives the best care.

I've been going to this clinic for over four years. The staff are so kind and caring! They truly care about what's best for both my dogs. They're always willing to help or answer any questions I have regarding the needs of my dogs! I've had appointments with both Dr. Johnston and Dr. Cross and I absolutely recommend both of them!

My tiny teacup poodle was being cared for by the vets at Lakewood for the last 5 years. The last 3 Dr Cross was my dogs primary veterinarian and I've had only the best experiences here. Every staff member honestly cares about their patients and the pet owners. Unfortunately my dogs life journey has recently ended and going through this process I felt very supported and comforted by all the staff but especially Dr Cross. I have complete trust in the staff but most of all Dr Cross. I'd recommend Lakewood to anyone with a pet if you want quality care.

Dr. Powers is a wonderful vet. I have been going to this clinic for over 20 years. Everyone is very helpful and friendly
