In January of 1999, Dr. Brewer overheard his old boss talking about a potential veterinary clinic in Pleasant Prairie. Upon checking out the village, both Dr. Brewer and Dr. Wilsey fell in love with the area. The people of Kenosha County are friendly, the area is beautiful, and there are lots of things to do right in your back yard without having to go to the "city."
I was born and raised in Kansas. At the age of 5, I went with my Dad to see Dr. Carr with our Pomeranian "Pumpkin" for her annual physical and vaccines. I had recently been to the pediatrician's office myself for pre-K booster shots, and felt for her possible pain. I was so nervous for her that Dr. Carr noticed it.
Our fees are set to allow us to provide a high quality of care to all of our patients. Payment for all services is expected at the time of discharge. We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Care Credit. We would be more than happy to provide you with a quote on the medical treatment plan specific to your pet prior to performing any procedures.

We came up to your clinic only because of Dr Feltes. We knew her from her previous employment and we trust her with the care of our animals. It was an hour drive but worth it to have Dr Feltes care for our dogs.

Awesome staff, the best! I know my cat is in great hands if and when I go to Care animal hospital. They truly are to animals what their sign says, they care! They are genuinely affectionate and positive about what they do, and go over every single detail in depth with what needs to happen or do, to maintain the longevity of your pet.

I am so pleased with the level of care we have received at CARE Animal Hospital. From routine wellness exams to end-of-life care, my animals and I have been treated with compassion and respect. If I have had questions or concerns, they have been dealt with efficiently and in a manner that meets my expectations. Also, the vets and vet techs I have seen are total professionals, but they also have a great sense of humor (at the appropriate times, of course), which I really appreciate.

Very great experience for us all. Myself and my dog included. Was extremely nervous to come to the vet after the way we were treated at previous vet but left feeling great! They took the time getting to know my pup because he is a little shy with new people and he did amazing. We love it here and won't go back to any other vet!

Every technician and Veterinarian I have met here have been absolutely wonderful. They are very caring, thorough and friendly. I also love that I can come inside with my dog, many vets still don't allow that. My only complaint is that I spent a great deal of money on testing for my dog, I would like to receive a report with the actual results to keep with my records rather than just an email stating everything looks great. I love that they allow the owner to come inside so that I can have conversations with the Vet.

I would not trust my animals to anyone but Care. The staff is wonderful to work with and take great care of our animals. They take it very slow with Arlo knowing how anxious he is. Their range of services is amazing and always expanding. I have been bringing my dogs to Care since they opened, they have been helpful from puppyhood to end of life decisions.

In short, CARE + Dental Procedure = Death. With difficulty, I summarize our experience this way; CARE completely discounted our concerns with such a medical procedure, and assured us we had no reason to fret. We specifically scheduled the appointment so our loved one could be cared-for by a particular vet. Our trust was violated when another vet conducted said procedure—the veterinarian we requested wasn’t even on the premises to monitor his condition and ensure our loved one was safe.
CARE increased the anesthesia as a result of a “pain response” and he did not survive. CARE was diligent to ensure they received their $1500 payment the evening of his passing, and never once sent us any condolences for our loss. “UnCaring” would be a more appropriate name for this heartless establishment.
