Why does my dog need to be on heartworm preventative all year? We recommend heartworm preventative for your dog all year long only because it helps owners to remember to give it every month. Also, the preventative helps protect against intestinal parasites, which are not seasonal. Why does my dog need to have a heartworm test every year?
It has taken me a little while to write a review because we have struggled through this loss, as many of you have gone through yourselves. What I would like to say is that if it were not for the staff, from front desk Angie, to Dr. Laurie, and all wonderful caring associates, Steve and I would not have made it through that day.

Diagnosis given to my dog was not correct. Went to another vet and told me it was the kennel cough. Also and receptionist did not call me to let me know that the clinic was going to be closed due to staff going for a covid testing. My time is valuable they could of called before leaving to their testing to let patients know about the inconvenience. I am never coming to this place glad I went to another clinic where they value patients time

I had an absolutely wonderful experience here. From front office staff right down to my time in the room with the assistant and the vet herself, I was in love with this office immediately. The fact that the vet loved on my pet, giving her snuggles and a little nose kiss and was so gentle with her was so endearing, I was auomatically at ease and happy with her and like "that's it-she's the one".
They took their time with me, spent lots of time going over background information and explaining things about her health and discussing her illness with me. I thought the cost for the visit including the time she spent with us and the resulting medications my cat needed was excellent. I even recommended them to the uber driver that drove us home immediately after our appointment.

I took my dog here about a year ago, she was very sick. Not eating, lost weight, was lethargic. Me being a concerned dog owner wanted an answer as to why she was sick. They misdiagnosed my dog with a stomach bug and gave her antibiotics. When i came back for a check up they made me give her sedatives before hand for being "too excited". She was still sick, same symptoms.
They wanted to continue with antibiotics. After the second appointment, I took her to a different vet and got her properly cared for and diagnosed. She's anemic and her red blood cell count was dangerously low. I don't suggest this place if you are looking for a proper diagnosis. Edit to owner: my dog is indeed friendly but the vet was also sitting for the entire exam which is putting her at face level with the dog. Which does not help. I appreciate your feedback but I stand by my original statement. Thank you.
