Dr. Mike has been treating my dogs for years. Its always a pleasure watching him treating them with love and compassion. Our visit to Animal Kingdom was, by far, the best experience I have ever encountered in all the 30 years I have been taking my animals for their check ups. We relocated from another state and had been well established with another pet hospital. After asking around for recommendations we chose Animal Kingdom. What a blessing! From the initial call to schedule the appointment we were in great hands. Tammy was so friendly and welcoming.
The vet techs who assisted my pup during the appointment were thoughtful and kind. Dr. Mike's exam was comprehensive and the time he took to explain his findings and treatment plan was superb! I 'm so grateful to have such caring professionals caring for our pets.

Noticed my bird wasn't doing too good so i called about 10 different vets to see who cares for birds. several of those recommended Animal Kingdom. i called them and was able to get my bird seen the next day. Dr Mike and the entire staff was so nice and helpful. the Dr walked me through his findings and explained to me what my next steps should be and why. overall great experience and i will definitely be coming back.

My puppy broke his leg and after trying to find somewhere to take my new fur baby ASAP animal kingdom pet hospital to the rescue they told me they could see him as soon as I got there walked me through everything very sweet and caring and treated him like there baby and has called to check up on him this evening I definitely really appreciate dr. Mikel And recommended everyone to them

I appreciate Dr. Mike being so transparent about the possible side effects of my dog's allergy medication and informing me of all of our options. He was knowledgeable and way more informative/cooperative than our last vet. I also appreciate that they take care to make sure that we only get the best quality prescriptions from them. My dog loved the staff, and the woman checking us in at the desk was also amazing and personable and even brought my husband and I some drinks while we waited in our cars for our curbside appointment. Thank you for the great experience to the whole staff.

Animal Kingdom is by far the most amazing choice for our Ollie. I am beyond grateful to have chosen them for my Ollies needs. This was our second visit and I would highly recommend my family and friends! From the moment you speak with them the staff here are very knowledgeable, understanding and full of compassion. Dr. Mike and his team are without a doubt the best in my area.

Everyone at AKPH is friendly and helpful and it is obvious they love animals. I love the fact that the vet techs and Dr. Mike get down on the floor and show our pups some love before getting down to business. Pets are probably never going to love going to the vet but our dogs genuinely enjoy the people at AKPH which make the vet visits less stressful for everyone.
Of course, on top of that, your pet gets first class medical exams and treatment. Our new home is in Missouri City but I plan to keep going to AKPH because it’s worth the drive to have the best for our dogs.

Dr. Mike is awesome! Always so friendly, informative, and compassionate. I made the gut-wrenching decision to send my 17 1/2 year old cat, Spooky, to Heaven on Tuesday. I could NOT have done this without Dr. Mike there with me. His kindness and compassion amazes me. The staff is awesome too. If I could give them a 10 rating, I would. No, make that 11. BEST. VET. EVER.

Excellent staff and a through exam showing healthy trends in food and care.. Told to continue care "as is" because our three cats , two Bengals ages 3.5 years to 13 years old , all healthy and well adjusted. Left feeling good about our care for our pets. Feeling good about our veterinary clinic choice.

Great service! Our Toby had an acute neurological problem on Friday afternoon at 4:00 pm. Called as an emergency new patient, Dr. Mike and staff were wonderful and compassionate.
Toby is on a treatment plan and back to his old self.
Dr. Mike took a detailed history and explained everything in a manner the was very understandable. He looked external causes, explained blood work values and what they indicated. He asked probing questions about exposure to toxins and other things. The staff was kind and caring. They made a terrifying experience as good as it could get.

This was my first visit to Animal Kingdom. From the moment I stepped into Animal Kingdom I was extremely impressed with the staff. I will admit, On the outside and inside they might be outdated. I was greeted warmly and immediately checked in. While waiting to see the doctor I noticed staff stopping in the waiting room to visit with dogs and cats.
Everyone spoke to me as I and my 2 week old kitten waited to be seen. I was even offered a ice pop and soda. Once I was in the examining room the head vet tech and Dr.Mike listened to me. I never felt looked down upon or pressured to buy extra procedures for the kitten.
