I recently had the heart break of finding out my Budgie of 12 years had cancer. Dr. Smith and this clinic were so kind and professional from the inital diagnosis, checkups, and the final vet visit of putting Gator to rest. Even sending out a beautiful condolence card. And I know in an ideal world we would be able to spare any expense when it comes to our pets. But in reality that isn't so. So I would also like to mention they are reasonably priced especially for an exotic vet. Definitely highly reccomend.

The staff at Exotic Bird Hospital is caring and very thorough. We took our favorite chicken there after discovering a cavernous 'hole' at the site of a previous injury where she had been stitched up from a pit bull attack under her wing, about a year ago. She has been sick for months, and we even took her to UF about a month ago, and they told us our chicken had 'cancer' and needed about $1500 in testing to determine what kind, and then we would go from there.and they totally missed this giant hole in her side.
We found it after giving her a bath, after she got into some gooey mud outside. So anyway, long story short, the doc and staff here spent about 2 hours with us from start to finish, trying to figure out how this hole formed, how best to proceed with treating it (because it was filled with dirt and grime), and then how we would treat her afterward at home.
She needed surgery, which the doc let us stand there and watch the whole thing, asking questions the whole time (unlike UF where everything is done in top secret ) and then went over all the post op stuff with us carefully because she needs a shot, pills, and oral medication. The whole visit - including surgery and meds, was $200. At UF, this would have easily been $1000 bill if not more.
And this is the third time we have taken a chicken there for treatment from them. And every time, we are just blown away at the level of attention they give our birds. The people working here are just outstanding. They absolutely love what they do.

I don't think I can say enough good things about this office. From the welcoming front office staff to the amazing techs (David was wonderful!) and caring veterinarians. Dr. Borger and Dr. Smith have been absolutely fabulous with our Guinea pig. It's obvious they have significant experience with Guinea pigs and they kept me constantly updated about his progress. It is worth every penny we've spent to keep our piggy healthy and happy. We HIGHLY recommend this office.

I really love this place, the staff is so awesome and friendly. Very special thanks out to McKenna, Jammy and of course Dr. Smith, oh and time machine guy;, and the rest of the staff; you guys are awesome. Boo really loves going there, well at least loves being spoiled and pampered. Boo and I are sending out our love and kisses, especially Boo kisses. Thank you for taking such good care of our baby.

Doctor Stevenson and her nurses are the best! They care so much about their patients and the stress level of their patients. They will do everything in their power to lower the stress level. They go above and beyond every time. Today I brought in my red fox Sunshine and the way they go about it is very comforting. Sunshine is my pride and joy she is my baby and no matter what she needs I will provide so seeing the staff do the same thing makes me extremely comfortable and happy.

I love this place. I have been taking my African Grey here for two years. They don't only treat my parrot, they genuinely care about her. Some staff members even hold parrot classes for new and seasoned owners. When we go out of town, we board our parrot at this hospital. She parrot comes home healthy and most important, not stressed. Along with the great service and wonder staff, I recently found, fell in love and adopted our second parrot.

Everyone at Exotic Bird Hospital is extremely nice and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable and the place is very clean. You can definitely tell that their love for every animal is immense.
Sadly my first visit there included having to say goodbye to one of my companions; my 4-year-old bantam chicken Dot. Everyone there was very gentle and understanding, allowing me to say my goodbyes alone, for as long as I needed. Dr Colbert was very wonderful and explained everything very well.
He helped me help Dot reach a place of comfort and rest. I'm very grateful for the wonderful staff and how caring all of them were and I will definitely be bringing my next feathered babies here. I cannot express how great a place EBH is.

Everything is comfy to keep my four birdies calm. The waiting area has Kermit and Zeus to welcome you. Both huge birds. They have a nice assortment of foods, treats and toys. The doctors really know their stuff. I have seen 3 of the 4. Their assistants are very knowledgable and polite. My only complaint is that while they recommend darkness at night, they don't adhere to that because they are treating sick babies through the night. Mine came home after a 5 day stay totally NOT having the cover.

this is the best staff I have ever dealt with! they have taken care of all three of my birds, my rabbit, and my cat when I couldn't get her into a different vet. I love the staff I miss them so much since I've moved. they're the reason I still have my parakeet they saved his life! I would recommend them 100%
