I have been bringing my dogs and other animals to Dr Goman for over 25 years. I have show dogs that need to receive the best care. There is no one else in St Louis that I can recommend more highly than Dr. Goman, and I will gladly make the long trip with my animals to have this top level of care. He is still privately owned, and not a part of a big conglomerate, so the service is personal, outstanding, conscientious, and caring, staff included. 5 stars really aren't enough, but it's all they'll let me give!

Best vet I've been to, my animals will see nobody else. Very affordable and caring. A veterinarian that actual cares about the animals rather than draining your pockets.

Goman is an amazing vet, he's very straightforward and blunt, but you can tell he really has a passion for the health and wellness of your pets.

My dog has such high anxiety and taking her to a new vet doesn't help but this vet even went as far as to sit on the ground with my baby girl to get her to relax and feel more comfortable! He genuinely cares for each and every pet and I love how informative he is because I hate not knowing exactly what's going on with my fur babies. He is always quick to respond when I call with any questions and the price isn't any more than anywhere else but his service is unlike any other! Being my first time taking my puppy to the vet or ever having this type of experience I must say I was completely educated on things needed to take good care of my pup. The doctor and techs were amazing and Jewel liked them after getting out of her shy stage. I appreciate all the knowledge that was shared and I look forward to our next appointment.

This is the best pet veterinarian in the STL! Looove Dr. Goman and his staff! My dog Murphy loves going and he's greeted by the staff and they always have yummy treats ready for him! Dr. Goman pays close attention to not only your pets needs, but yours as well as a pet owner. Dr. Goman provides excellent and superior care for Murphy while thoroughly explaining to me my pet's needs and even cost breakdowns.

The care and customer service is unmatched. Even if you don't live in the Normandy area, it is worth sending your pet here. You will not only receive the best care, but you won't break the bank either. You'll do yourself a huge disservice if you take your pet elsewhere.

We've been taking our feral born 2-y.o. cat that we rescued to Dr. Goman since she was just a couple of months old. He's always ready to advise us on the best treatment course and preventative measures to use on Missy. Vet. Techs and the doctor alike are patient, and willing to answer any of our questions or concerns. The staff is caring, friendly, and gentle in handling her.

The whole staff is welcoming. As a matter of fact, we also brought in a feral cat from our neighborhood that we trapped, and they neutered him, gave him a physical check-up, and told us how to care for him for a couple of days before releasing him. They were both concerned and compassionate when we brought in our kitty's feral mama to get her spayed.

Unfortunately she had to be euthanized due to multiple infections and was too ill to be saved. In truth, we highly recommend the Normandy Animal Hospital, the doctor, and entire staff! They truly rate five stars. We are so happy to know them. Our kitty receives such good care that we always feel healthier when we leave, knowing there's no stress over the care she gets.

I’ve been taking my animals to Dr. Goman for more than a decade. I cannot recommend them too highly. The entire staff is caring and knowledgable and will take the time, in person or on the phone, to make sure you understand, to allay any fears, or just listen when you need an ear.

i have used Dr Goman and Normandy Animal hospital for over 30 years, for my show dogs, and other pets (even livestock) and was recommended by another show person. Dr Goman is one of the few vets that will research something he is not familiar with, and ask the experts, no matter where they might be in the country. He is VERY thorough in explaining things to the pet parents, and excellent diagnostician and surgeon, and is wonderful with all animals, even getting on the floor with elderly ones. He and Dr Polleck (his wife) are some of the best vets in St Louis, and i would feel that taking any of my animals there was absolutely giving them the best care possible.

Dr. Goman was really helpful and nice to save my girlfriend's cat. We were almost despair when her cat was dying. The costs of saving the cat were not low but apparently much lower than other vets. Her cat was in danger and needed to be checked frequent after the surgery. Dr. Goman is very responsible and he checked the status of all the pets even if in the midnight or the weekends.

Normandy is the only place I will take my puppies. The level of care they provide and the way I get to be involved in the care of my dog means the world to me. I always feel my dogs are safe and in good hands. Whether it's routine shots or medical care for when my dogs are sick, I know they're in good hands and I feel like I know every single step of care they're going to provide. I love my dogs and if you love your animals too, you should bring them to Dr. Gorman.
