This facility does not care about your pets. I brought both of my dogs to the clinic both of which suffer from seasonal allergies one of which is a puppy who has suffered with itchiness his entire life. I took him to this clinic in September, the Dr. Hileman walked into the room looked at him for two seconds and diagnosed him with mange. She indicated in order to obtain a proper diagnosis she would have to do 7-8 cultures and decided against it and to just put him on antibiotics, medicated shampoo and a house treatment!
Because of course he did not have mange, the antibiotics did not help his itching. When doing research of my own and in speaking with the owners of my puppy's siblings we came across the cytopoint shot. I called to ask about it and I was told I would need to pay for another exam although he was never really examined the first time, the receptionist, Annie, told me the vet would give me a call back the same day, late that same evening they called my husband instead? the next morning the receptionist called me back (never spoke to the vet, as advised) indicating that it's recommended for the dog to have another exam which again is unnecessary and refused to help him in anyway unless I paid for another $70 exam.
I then called back for his medical records to transfer to the new vet and I was told it's a 72 hour process and they charge per page. for an email. Needless to say I will never return and if you genuinely care about your pets, look elsewhere.

They do not care about my pet's health. My cat was out of prescription cat food and they informed a website (supposedly) and not the owner that the prescription was soon to expire. Chewy.com said they were still waiting on their approval. I called them to see if I could pick some up with them when they then informed me that the prescription was expired.
My cat was out of his food and they were not helpful in getting him any holdover food for when he can get an appointment next. When I was able to get him an appointment elsewhere, they would not send his medical records until I signed a release. Okay fine. But then they informed me I had to wait 48 hours for doctor to approve the records for release after I signed. Okay. BUT THEN ALSO after I signed I was informed that it was going to cost me however many a page for the records to be sent which is unheard of.
Of course I said I would pay but that my cat ran out of food and I need this taken care of prior to 48 hours because at this point he is out of food and hungry. They didn't care. Even when I offered to pay upon driving there and signing the paperwork, they still said I would have to wait for the doctor to approve, then they would tell me how many pages I would have to pay for, come back pay and thennnnn they would send the medical records.
The emergency vet appointment is tomorrow at 11am and I have still yet to hear back that they approved my signing my cats medical records, for me to pay for, then they send over. It is ridiculous. Even if this was a whole process, which it shouldn't have to be, at least give my cat some hold over food so he isn't starving until an appointment. They do not care about my cat, they do not care about me being completely inconvenienced. It is honestly absolutely appalling and I do not recommend this place by any means,

The staff at Gaithersburg Veterinary Clinic are my heroes! I could sing their praises all day long! I've been there twice now and each time, they have treated my sweet Zoe with the utmost respect and care. The first visit, they went above and beyond in helping us. They were minutes from closing, but allowed us to bring our cat anyway. We were frantic and nervous, not knowing what to do, and they came to the rescue.
They saw her, got her fixed up and then called twice in the following week to check up on her and make sure she was still doing okay. I highly recommend this clinic. They are very professional, compassionate, friendly and kind. I am so glad we found them! Thank you, to everyone that works here that have helped us with our sweet kitty. We truly appreciate everything you've all done for us!

Because of Covid you cannot go inside with your pet but thats everywhere. The staff has a very good system in place, the veterinarian is very good and very thorough. I've taken my new puppy there twice and we will go back 3-4 more times before the end of December to finish out her shots. I have confidence in the staff here.

Dr. Hileman and her staff are compassionate and professional and have been caring for my pets for the past 25+ years. She is also explicit in the technological and medical information to allow me to understand the reason and options for the applied treatments. The less expensive option is also presented to choose from when appropriate. I highly recommend Gaithersburg Veterinary Clinic.

We took our two cats, one for a wellness visit and one for a GI issue Dr. Hileman is great at really explaining what's going on with your pet and giving you all the possible options for treatment. I really appreciate that in a veterinarian. We are very happy we switched over to Gaithersburg veterinary clinic and will be bringing all of our pets there from now on.

We have been going to this Vet for a few years, since my dog was a puppy, never had a problem. She has been happy and healthy most of the years, even though we didnot have much experience with dogs. We're learning, and Dr. Hileman is very knowledgeable and really loves the pets she cares for. She would give us tips on how to care for her, and the staff there are usually very friendly too. Highly recommend.

Took one of my babies there after reading the great reviews. The office manager was very helpful and friendly, they were able to get me in same day for my dog when she was sick. Reasonable prices, and the vet we saw was very knowledgeable. Everybody there seemed to really love animals and I know I'll be back with my other pups.
