Both humans and pets can benefit from the science of antioxidant support of all of the cells of their bodies. While oxidative stress is present in all metabolic processes, an excessive amount is harmful. The constant bombardment of the body's cells with free radicals can be reduced by daily exercise, a healthy diet, a healthy body weight, and supplementing the diet with specific antioxidants.
Free radicals created by oxidative stress readily damage the delicate tissues of the eye. Ocu-GLO is a unique supplement blend created by two veterinary ophthalmologists to support healthy eye function in dogs.

Services
As a service to pets and their owners, Animal Eye Care is pleased to provide a selection of informational handouts for ocular disease in domestic animals. The ocular conditions discussed in this section are all disease entities that may be referred by veterinarian general practitioners to board-certified veterinary ophthalmologists for diagnosis and treatment.
This is "Chase", who was one of my very special patients with GRPU that I will never forget. This article is dedicated in memory of Chase, and for all of my other patients with GRPU. Did you know that there is a significant risk that your Golden Retriever will become blind in its senior years from a genetic disease lurking in its eyes?
9 years ago, this dog's eye was terribly injured by a cat claw when the dog was a tiny puppy. The claw perforated the cornea, ruptured the lens, and caused a retinal detachment. The eye was blind but VERY luckily did not need to be removed. Thanks to lifetime regular ophthalmic care, it has remained a cosmetic, blind eye.
There are many heritable diseases in animals. The Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF) was established in 1974 to create a database to track heritable eye diseases in purebred dogs. Dogs at risk for developing ocular genetic diseases, and dogs affected with ocular genetic diseases, may benefit from nutritional and antioxidant support with the canine antioxidant nutraceutical, OcuGLO.

I have been taking my rabbit Charlie there for two years now to treat his congenital glaucoma. The office is super clean and the staff is outstanding in every way! Dr. McCalla is incredibly thorough, and is also very knowledgable about good places to get better priced pet meds. Dr. McCalla and her staff have made dealing with Charlie's challenging situation as good as it can possibly be - I am so grateful!

The doctor was very thorough and covered everything with my dog having hypothyroidism, pancreatitis and recently diabetes. With her knowledge, she is helping me save my dog's vision. She was nothing but sweet and caring and very informative. As for price, you pay for what you get and she is top notch.
