Dr Owens and staff are absolutely incredible. My dog gets nervous at the vet and he felt quite comfortable here. From the friendly greetings at the front desk, to Dr Owens taking her time assessing our questions and concerns, we had such an amazing experience!

Dr Owens and the Technician were extremely competent, professional, and personable. We like to joke about how anti social our cat can be (he's not) but the exquisite care and handling caused him to act like they were his owners, not me! 'Nuff said me thinks.

Dr Owens was absolutely phenomenal! I really appreciate how attentive and caring she was. She really took her time to get to know the issues and concerns we had and addressed each one. The tech that assisted us was also very attentive and caring! I was very impressed by the level of service I received at Muddy Branch! Thank you!

We've been going to Dr Katz since we moved to the area in 2017/18. He and his team are simply the best. They did a marvelous job treating an elderly dog with multiple serious health conditions and ensuring the best possible quality of life for her during her later years. They have also provided excellent care and advice for maximizing the health of our two year old dog. We have also consistently been impressed with the fact that Dr Katz's practice always has the latest equipment, testing protocols, etc. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Muddy Branch for several years as they are not only my vet, but offer their services at cost to the rescue group I volunteer with. All three vets are caring people who are willing to take the time to make sure your pet is doing their best. The staff are all friendly and helpful - it's obvious they love animals. This time when I visited, my dog took exception to having his teeth examined and snapped at the vet.

She went out of her way to make sure there was no pain causing his reaction and then spent some time with me reassuring me that nothing was wrong and suggesting how to prevent this in the future. When I had to put my last dog to sleep I lost count of how many people there hugged me and told me they were sorry. This kind of caring means a lot. They recently started offering rehab services, including an underwater treadmill. After just one session I can see a change in my dog. You won't find a better place to take your furry family member.

Been going here since 1995. Dr. Katz has always been great. I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Owens recently under less than ideal conditions. She's nothing short of amazing! Comforting and caring toward my suck pup. Will definitely see her again. The front desk staff and techs are always so friendly. You won't be upset going here.

I have had nothing but amazing care with the team at Muddy Branch Vet Center. The first time I went was when my cat was experiencing an unexpected illness during COVID so I had to drop him off and hadn't met anyone on staff, which is nerve-wracking for a fur momma. The team at Muddy Branch not only put my anxiety at ease but explained everything that was going on thoroughly.

We recently had to go back for surgery and again this team has been nothing but outstanding. They take the time to explain what is happening, what post care should look like and patiently answer any questions you have. They show compassion to animals and owners alike. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Everybody at the vet was fantastic for the first time ever our dog Lili was calm and relaxed during a vet appointment. They really took the time to talk to us and get a good understanding of what was going on with our elderly dog. All the staff was happy to assist us with all our questions and very kind to Lili. After Lili's extensive dental work Dr. Katz called us late in the evening to make sure she was recovering well.

He even came in on Saturday when he was not scheduled so we could bring her in for a quick follow-up to make sure all was going well with her recovery. Muddy Branch Veterinary Center is simply the best vet we have ever been to.

I cannot recommend these vets, their staff, and care for the animals enough! I just recently switched to this vet after one too many mediocre attempts at addressing my concerns for my cat, at the last place I was going. Here at Muddy Branch, not only do they all visibly have affection for the critters they see, but they have plans ahead of time to make sure your animal has a good experience too. Example: on the form you fill out ahead of time, asking questions if to address if the animal needs a minor sedation so they are less anxious and have a more positive experience.

The vets have either called or come out (following covid masks and distancing) to address any issues and concerns I've had. They address the concerns to a T; I feel sure that my kitty receives the best care here and that she will be as healthy as can be under their guidance.

The doctors are knowledgeable, forthcoming, and extremely caring (and quite funny as well - always putting words in my sassy dog's mouth), and the reception staff is helpful and multitasks well. My little one has gotten to know Dr. Katz and Dr. Challberg and several lovely vet techs. PS- Solid additional services are offered here as well, like grooming (the best!) and acupuncture. (Yes, I know how silly acupuncture on a dog sounds, but my limping 14-yr-old who used to fall over outside doing his business now frolics like he's 10 again, so. win!)
