Friendly staff, outrageous prices. My dog gets ear infections which I regularly treat at home with inexpensive, over the counter medication that works every time. She happened to have one during her last visit, so they offered to clean her ears and administer medication. I was charged nearly $200 dollars for what I can do myself at a tiny fraction of the price, and was not given a heads up about the price.
What a rip off. Every other vet I have been to is upfront about all costs before any treatment is done, especially when the price exceeds small, routine costs. Unfortunately that does not seem to be a universal professional courtesy among all vets.

Surprised to see Dr. Fernandez still working here after she killed my dog. (2019) Update 2022: Our dog never made it after three days in the ICU, with round the clock intensive care due to an anesthesia overdose. This was confirmed by a neurologist at the Emergency hospital who came to review his case. I'm shaken to see that another person has experience this at the hands of this hospital in such a short time period. John, I'm not sure how to find you but please contact me. Clearly this hospital is negligent and needs to be held responsible.

Great Falls Animal Hospital has been taking great care of our Beany, a rescue cat who walked out of the woods into our hearts more than 18 years ago. They've seen him through one serious illness and have kept him strong with a variety of ongoing meds. They are always caring and considerate. Can't say enough good about the entire staff.

We have had our pets seen at Great Falls Animal Hospital for years and always with caring professional service. Last week we had an exceptional visit with Dr. Gina Blevins who saw our 15 year old cat. She addressed his weight problems with specific suggestions, his joint discomfort with medications and ways to help with his challenges and ways to manage his medium length coat better than just brushing him. She was generous with her time and the care given our dear cat.

They are the most caring people I've ever met, even when it came to my "devil cat". The vet was honest, which I definitely appreciated, and talked me out of a bad decision. I would love to bring my fractious cat back here but she has a three year ban (until her next Rabies vaccine). Seriously the best kind of providers, and I am so grateful for their services!

We have been going here for the past 7 months to take care of our two pups, and they have been the best vet clinic that we have ever been to. It is clearly evident that they care about each pet they see, and we always feel very confident in their advice and recommendations. They even worked our puppy into their busy schedule to see her for an urgent matter and went above and beyond to make sure our little one was safe and secure to go home.

When our vet of many years moved to Pittsburgh two years ago, we switched to Dr. Kalinsky at Great Falls Animal Hospital. Dr. Kalinsky has been a fantastic vet to our four dogs. We lost one of our dogs soon after we met Dr. Kalinsky. Our dog was an old English Mastiff rescue with fear and trust issues. In the short time that Roxie was a patient, Dr. Kalinsky worked cooperatively with us about how to manage her appointments. Dr. Kalinsky is so smart, knowledgeable, and concerned about our animals.
She is very sweet and gentle with them. She is very responsive and works hard to figure out the cause of problems and treat it appropriately. The staff is also very helpful and responsive. During covid when we could not go in with our dogs to appointments, we had no concerns at all about how they would be treated when we were not present. Our dogs actually enjoy going to the vet! We drive all the way from Centreville to go to this practice.
