Exceptional quality service, clean place, convenient hours, ample parking lot, and the Drs are quick to return your call. Tried another place in town before, but this was far better. I particularly enjoyed the fact we were able to board our dogs there also when we went away on vacation last week. Not only were they walked multiple times a day, they ensured their dietary restrictions were met and so forth.

We have been bringing our dogs here for a few years, and it is always a pleasant experience. Dr. Greenberg and her team truly value animals, and people! The vets/ vet techs are professional and courteous as well as the front desk staff. There is care behind everything they do. Wouldn’t bring my dogs anywhere else!

Called a half hour before closing to have my border collie treated for a deep laceration that had just occurred, and they told me that they were closing soon so I would have to go to the Emergency vet in Nanuet. So much for caring about animals, god forbid the employees here stay a minute past closing time to assist an animal in need. Cause Nanuet is 4 times the distance from me but whatever. Thanks for nothing.

If you like to spend more money then you have to then go here. Before I left that town I brought my dog in for a bout of diarrhea. $600 later and nothing given just a lot of unnecessary tests. The vet is thirsty for money she scares you into thinking there is something really wrong runs the bill up ( and who knows if she even did the test, you hand over your dog to them not allowed in due to Covid) Shame on you Dr. Greenburg you took Lonnies business and turned it into a money-making scheme. There's a special place in Hell for you

They completely rip you off! I had to spend an arm and a leg on seeing if my dog had anything going on in his stomach with xrays to not be able to tell me what the exact issue was. And had the nerve to want to charge me $84 more dollars for extra tests. they don't care about our pets, they only want to profit off of them. Better to go to TARAS in Middletown instead.

I spent $508.24 on my cat to get rid of his foul stool. After many tests, meds and an ultrasound they gave up and referred me to a specialist. Gave me a medical report to bring with me that said NOTHING about foul stool and described him as indoor/outdoor when he is indoor only. Luckily I had the bright idea to change his food. Bingo.that was the problem! Vet never even asked what he was eating. Real problems here.

Monroe Animal hospital is great! Always has been! We have been taking Bella there for about 11 years now. They are quick to return phone calls, especially fast in emergency situations, caring, always there to answer our questions and guide us, and have always handled Bella with care and concern! Thank you for all you do! We appreciate it!

This curbside pickup for vet appts is difficult due to lack of communication.but After numerous conversations the vet tech, Joseph completely disregarded our wishes and gave our dog the distemper vaccine although we told him not to because our dog was current and they just needed the info from our previous veterinarian. All he said was "we tried calling and they didn't pick up". it was 7 am in WA State, of course not. If this was my child you would be looking at a malpractice lawsuit. Not only disappointing, but we got charged for it too. May be looking for a different vet.

Avoid this place at all costs. Everytime we have brought our pets in, there has been something "wrong" with them. We got a second opinion on most times and they literally make things up to overcharge us. All they care about is making a quick buck and they do not care about your pets. We brought one of our cats to get neutered and they microchipped him as well, while never discussing this and slipped in the paper for us to sign.
They never offer any advice over the phone and are quick to bring you in over something you can easily fix at home. They are just a bunch of greedy scammers. This is not how you make lasting relationships. We will be going to pets I love in Monroe instead.

Dr. Kate Greenberg saved my cats life. I called her one afternoon, with questions about my Bubba's behavior. She quickly returned my phone call; told me it was urgent to get him to the vet; and moved around her schedule to accommodate me. Bubba had a severe infection - but has now returned to his good health, thanks to Dr. Greenberg and the Monroe Animal Hospital staff. Thank you so much!

I don't recommend this place as they are very very expensive! Pet owners be aware! They must think people have money trees growing in there yards! Very sad! My dog had to suffer because of them wanting more money and more unnecessary test!i there are options! Goose pond animal hospital. fare prices and they care about your dog not your pocket. If I could rate my experience with Monroe Animal Hospital it would be for sure a -0

Dr. Baker is amazing. I don't even think amazing cuts it - her experience and knowledge with exotic animals, especially rabbits, is far beyond most I have encountered. Dr. Barker treated my rabbit, Lola, for the two years that I was fortunate enough to have her. She was always conscientious, precise, and careful with her care. She spayed her, performed numerous sedated dental filings, and overall routine care with the utmost skill.
I unexpectedly lost my Lola this past Saturday, and received nothing but kind words from her. She also treats my cats, dog, and my bearded dragon and does great with everyone. If you're looking for compassion, knowledge, and a doctor who will give you all the information - look no further.

This is the worst place to bring your pet. I wouldn't trust them with a fly! They use to Take care of my dog for 10 years and never picked up his heart murmur? Took him to a new vet they picked it up in 30 seconds! They told me He needs to see a cardiologist asap! He has degenerative heart valve Disease! This does not happen over night! This happens over time! If you love your pet don't bring them here! You will be sorry!

Vet Wanted to Amputate Cat's Toe Just For The Money! I brought my cat here with a hurt paw. The vet said the claw was damaged and could possibly grow inwards, causing infections, but to come back in two weeks to see how it was healing. When I brought my cat back two weeks later, the vet said it "could" grow back wrong, causing infections and suggested to go ahead and amputate the toe next week (at a cost of over $800) rather than wait and see how it grows back.
She said he will be fine without his toe, he doesn't need it. no big deal! Needless to say I didn't bring my cat back and his claw grew back totally fine. I don't know how someone could amputate a cat's toe just for the money and manage to sleep at night. My bill is usually higher than I expect and there always seems to be so many procedures required.
I don't trust them. The employees all act "friendly", but in a very phony way. I am going to find a new vet that I can feel comfortable with and who isn't just out to make a buck at the animal's expense.
