Absolutely Amazing. They are affordable, intelligent, and caring. The go above and beyond. They helped me in my lowest lows of pet ownership. Even helped me subdue a menacing dog through the phone and helped get police help. And that was over the phone! They care about their patients and patient parents. There are know words to describe my full gratitude.

Led by Dr. Howard Rothenberg, Chief of Staff, I must say that his entire Goosepond Animal Hospital Team are phenomenal! The front desk personnel are (always) very nice and professional! His supporting care team are extremely thorough, compassionate and truly understanding. My sons Chorkie, (Rocco) injured his hind leg this morning while taking a misstep.
I immediately brought him to Goosepond and everyone who was on duty, were absolutely phenomenal! As always, Dr. Rothenberg handled Rocco with extreme carefulness and gentleness while examining his hind leg. He explained everything to me while he was taking care of Rocco. Rocco will be ok and I owe Dr. Rothenberg and the gentleman who assisted him, A HUGE THANK YOU! Goosepond Animal Hospital. Rocks!

I love the actual vet and techs at Goosepond, but if you want to get spoken down to and receive an nasty attitude from Mary at the front desk. This is definitely the place to go. I completely understand a bad day, but I've been dealing with Mary having a bad day and being nasty and unfriendly for over 3 years. I can't take her poor customer service anymore. Looks like I will be taking my 3 dogs and cat elsewhere because of Mary.

I oversee a small Non-Profit animal shelter in Goshen, NY. We have taken our shelter animals to Goosepond for many years. Dr. Rothenberg and Dr. Alwang are incredible, but the people that answer at the front desk are equally important. Zoe is by far a HUGE asset to Goosepond Animal Hospital. She is not only helpful, but has gone overboard in helping our shelter buy dropping off prescriptions/meds, donations and helped to get our sick animals in to Vet appointments.
When calling Goosepond and Zoe answers, you know that you are getting someone that was born not only to help not only animals, but also the people they are connected to. Zoe is truly a friend to the animals and to all that come in contact with her!

Please do not support Goosepond Animal Hospital anymore. They are the most expensive vet around Monroe, NY. with the least friendliest staff. Every time I called to many an appointment, I felt that I was being a burden to the receptionist. I didn't feel this way until my dog became sick very fast at a young age. They diagnosed him with cancer and it devastated my entire family. Goosepond preformed surgery and told me that it was all removed to find out a month later that they missed a large portion of it.
My dog passed away a few months later. Then, the receptionist calls me and is mad my dog hasn't been in for a follow up. My dog passed away, I said. She's like well what dog is alive in our records then? I don't know, Ma'am that's your issue. The made sure to send me an invoice.

I love Goose Pond, they always get me in same day when our dogs get sick or when one of our dogs broke her leg. Dr. Christopher Alwang even carried her out to the car for us. All the doctor's and staff are amazing but we mostly see Dr. Michelle Sonnema and she is wonderful. She remembers our dogs and is always kind and loving towards them. I am always so thankful for them and their wonderful staff for everything they do.

I took my two dogs here when I moved into the area. One of our dogs had fractured a tooth which needed to be extracted. Goosepond quoted us $750 for the removal, My husband and I were really worried and spent the night trying to figure out ways to raise up some extra cash so we could comfortably afford the extraction. Thankfully, we called Hamptonburgh Animal Hospital for a second opinion.
When we brought the dog in Dr Tuthill confirmed the tooth needed to be removed, and told us the extraction would be $75 ($675 less than what Goosepond quoted). After this experience I would not go back to Goosepond and I'd recommend that people get 2nd opinions if something doesn't seem right to them. It left a really bad taste in my mouth to be taken advantage of when trying to do the right thing for my animal. I highly recommend Dr Tuthill at Hamptonburgh- way worth the extra time in the car to take our boys over there.

I would highly recommend Goosepond Animal Hospital! Dr. Scarano and Dr. Rothenberg are excellent in their fields of expertise and have both performed surgeries on my cat. Their bed side manner is impeccable and you can tell they care about the well being of your animal. They have both called to check up on Bandit after his surgeries. They have even come in on days the hospital is closed to check on him and stayed open late when I called with an emergency on a holiday weekend.
Although the prices may not be the best in the area, the care the Dr.'s and the stupendous staff give are remarkable! I cannot thank them enough for giving my cat the chance to reach his 9 lives! Between him being lost in a snow storm for 6 weeks and having to be fed through feeding tubes to nurse him back to health, developing diabetes, and now having surgery at 14 years old due to crystals and stones in his urine, I'd say he's on at least his 4th life.
He is doing very well after surgery and due to his diet, he has lost weight and no longer needs insulin. Thank you to everyone at Goosepond Animal Hospital for caring about Bandit. He sends you rough kitty tongue kisses

Goosepond is the cat's meow! All of the doctors and vet techs are amazing.we know that our pups are in the best hands no matter who walks in the room to treat them. The staff go above and beyond, the rates are extremely reasonable, and the office is clean. They love our pets almost as much as we do. The patients walk in and walk out wagging, which in my opinion, is the biggest tell tale sign of a successful, caring, thorough veterinary office. 2 paws up, Goosepond.keep up the wonderful work you do!
