I began visiting Dr Matt's office a couple years ago after having frustrating experiences with another local vet office. Although the drive for me is significantly longer, I will never go anywhere else. I love the small office feel, knowing and trusting the entire staff and being able to get quickly in and out for appointments. Dr Matt is extremely knowledgable, kind, generous with his time.

I always feel like I can ask questions and he gives me honest, forthright answers. He is also a great problem solver when I have an issue. The fees are reasonable and absolutely more affordable than any other vet I have ever used. The entire staff at Volusia Vet Services is friendly and helpful. I always leave feeling like I, and my dogs, matter as a clients. I will always recommend Dr Matt as the best vet in Volusia County.

They have a worker who agrees animals are just property so it's fine to put them through surgery for cosmetic reason. No good vet would agree to cosmetic surgery's for pets or any unnecessary surgeries that aren't to improve a pets life since they are living creatures not just properly. Very disappointing to see that's the staff

We have had our cat there twice and the only price they know is $1200. And my cat is still sick. After all the unnecessary things the vet said I may want to consider putting her down

My dog needed surgery to remove a growth, and our normal vet wanted to charge an insane amount of money. $1500 to be exact. My best friend has always raved about her vet, and how they always save her so much money. So after getting the estimate from our vet, I asked her for her vets information, to get a 2nd opinion. Boy, am I so happy I did! Not only did they make this surgery affordable (55% less), they did it with compassion, and were very informative.

This will be our new vets office, and if anyone asks I will refer them here. Highly recommended! Also, you never know what kind of animal you will encounter in the waiting area! My toddler loves going. We've seen a goat, a baby pig, and 4 bulldog puppies.

We started using Dr Matt when my mom had goats and he would come out to the farm and treat the goats and all of our dogs. He is amazingly compassionate and kind. When my dog had to be put down he was doing farm calls in New Smyrna Beach at least an hour drive away, he used his allotted lunch time to drive across the county to put my dog down at our home and stayed with me until my husband could make it from work so that I wouldn't be alone when she passed.

When my other dog had started having seizures he took the most amazing approach to treating her and not just medicating her right away to see if we could control them without the medication that would surly shorten her life. Most vets wouldn't care about that as long as they could charge you.that isn't the case with Dr Matt or his office. We are so happy to have found a vet with so much compassion and feel blessed to know him and his family! I would highly recommend Dr Mat and his office.

Ken and I really enjoyed having Dr. Matt and his staff taking care of our pups! They are very attentive and reliable. We had to make a very hard decision about our 14 year old boy! Dr. Matt was very compassionate and let us stay with him alone in one of the rooms to hold him and say our Goodbyes! We thank Dr. Matt and his staff for their support and genuine care of our pets.

Dr Matt and his staff are wonderful. He genuinely cares for our animals and has, on more than one occasion, gone far above and beyond to help us in an emergency. He is knowledgeable and always up to date on the most current treatment information. He takes the time to get to know you and your pet. We appreciate him and his staff and highly recommend him!
