Animal Hospital Of Redondo Beach

Dr. Hutson has been our Vet for 22 years plus. Obviously, we think she's the best. We always feel our cats are getting great care and have a vet that really cares about our pets and about us as their cat parents.

Used to love this vet but the last 2 times I have called with semi emergencies (dog needs to be seen today but isn't potentially live threatening) the response has been - "we are fully booked all day". I've had to ask what the vet recommends, if I should take the dog to Access (emergency vet) to if what I'm describing can wait, and the answer I get are pretty vague ("you should take the dog to Access if it seems bad").

No longer feels like the office cares for its patients well being but is just a factory for visits. I'm so disappointed because we have been going here for 3 years. Time to look for another vet.

Thee best vet dr in the South Bay! The entire staff are friendly and caring towards our dog. That's why we will always recommend Dr Hutson!

I was very pleased with the care we received for our 19 year old cat Maui. This was the first time that we used to service this year. I will change to this vet permanently.

I took my cat in for a rabies vaccine because the cat boarding place requires vaccines to be up to date, and one of the technicians noticed that my cat was struggling to breathe, they immediately informed me that they were placing her in the oxygen chamber and that more tests were necessary, they explained the tests and the cost right away, they were very kind with my cat, I felt so bad for not noticing that my cat was breathing abnormally, they didn't judged me or lectured me, they made sure to have the Vet take a look at her even though they were very busy.

My sweet cat was diagnosed with asthma, thank God it wasn't a serious heart condition or Leukemia, I had a very good experience at Animal Hospital of Redondo Beach, I highly recommend this place, Thanks again for taking care of my sweet baby Bixby and being so kind to me as well.

Took m'man LEO for hist first visit upon the suggestion of my neighbor who's dog Fred looks LEO's 12%smaller twin brother. We're new to Redondo, used to go to VCA Wilshire in Santa Monica, which I also liked and recommend as highly as AHORB. similarly suuuperhduper professional service! Very impressed. Was taken in within just MINUTES of my appointment time - FABULOUS! Was given copious info about ideal foods and healing remedies - all thoughtfully written and well laid out on the pages, super easy to absorb. Bringing him back next month for his first-ever teeth cleaning jamboree. his bad breath indicates that we're probably a bit overdue, oops my badness. Overall Rating: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I couldn't be more disappointed in this pet hospital I once took all of my animals to. For years I've been a loyal client but after today I will never return. They have doubled their prices! Once only charging a reasonable $37 for a nail trim for two cats, now raising their prices to $67 for a cat nail trim! For those of you who get your nails done, that's about how much a human pays to have a manicure and pedicure.

I love my cats but hey, this vet doesn't soak their feet or provide a massage with this service. The nail trim for two cats literally takes 5 minutes. I am shocked. Shocked enough to write a review. Shame on you animal hospital of Redondo beach. I would give them NO STARS if I could!

Being seeing Dr Hudson for over 10 years. They always have emergent appointments so I don't have to go to emergency vet. very thorough. My cat dolce hates the vet and needs sedation but with Dr Hudson he is calm and loves the staff.

Such great staff and Dr Hutson just rocks! She comes in with little pieces of cut up chicken and Dusty fell in love in a secondQuick response and diagnoses very quickly and sent a very detailed email with treatment plan. I am moving my pet here- they are small but mighty
