We have added a state of the art class 4 MLS laser to our practice! MLS laser therapy is used for reducing pain, reducing inflammation and restoring mobility. The positive affects can be seen in many many ways. Searsport Veterinary hospital recommends annual exams to determine the general well-being of your pet and help identify issues.
Commonly known as Heartworm Test, the 4DX test is actually testing for four different diseases. It tests for heartworm, which is carried and transmitted by mosquitoes; lyme, ehrlichia, and anaplasmosis that are all carried and transmitted by ticks. We strongly recommend testing every year even if your dog is on heartworm preventative year round.

From acute lamenesses to wounds that are slow to heal to chronic pain and arthritis, laser therapy has been used to help them all. Dr. Lehaye has been our vet for many years. The staff has been wonderful! The care our cats and dogs have received has been excellent, and we appreciate the time, skill, and practical advice we have received in our caring for them.
