Northampton Veterinary Clinic

We have a diabetic cat. We are traveling and called the Northhampton for some help and received no new patients regardless of emergency.

So grateful to Dr. Jessica Dias and all of the clinic staff for being so wonderful and patient with our pup. Having a large dog with social anxieties, it's been hard to find a vet that could work with our Athena. We are so incredibly grateful to the staff for being so patient and helping her learn that the vet and people are not so scary. Thank you for always being awesome!

I just had my first visit with NVC with two dogs one of which is very difficult to treat because she is terrified of being handled, having blood drawn etc. This clinic treated the dog like royalty and managed to do everything including the blood draw keeping her calm. They wrote emails to me about both of my dogs and in general took care of the dogs and me with great compassion. I can not recommend them highly enough.

These folks go above and beyond to make their clients, and their clients' humans, feel well cared for. All of the staff are dedicated, caring, and friendly. The doctors are responsive, attentive, and very thorough, and they remember their patients' idiosyncracies (my kitty is very vet-anxious but likes cheese whiz and being sung to, and they give her both!).

I have had two old cats in a row, with the accompanying health issues, and NVC has helped us keep up with their developing problems and keep them comfortable and healthy. I often joke that I wish I could get my medical care here!

I absolutely love them! The staff is amazing, my dog loves going there. Super helpful and thorough with all exams and they give you multiple care options all different price rages and they’re honest about which care that you should go with.

Five stars is given out far too often in the world of ratings and media but it is deserved here. Dr. Kate not only understood animals but understood Behavior as well. Her bedside manner with me and my dog was an extreme improvement from my previous vet.

My 16year old beloved dog was at the end of his life. I called to talk to a vet for advice.not sure if my dog was in pain because of his distress. Was not allowed to talk to a vet.apparently they were too busy.only allowed to talk to a technician.who told me false information. Your pet can be buried in a pet cemetery.they said.no he could not. I found out the day he was euthanized.

Let's talk about that day. I was told to call when I arrived so that I didn't have to wait in line inside. Call when you arrive and we will take you into a private entrance so you do not have to wait in line. I called.no one answered.3 times it went into voicemail. I went inside completely in tears while everyone in the waiting room stared at me, mortified.

After 5 minutes waiting in line.the woman behind the desk escorted me to a room with my son, mother and dog. Clearly, she was annoyed and said, "not sure this arrangement would work." I was told previously on the phone that immediately upon arrival my baby would be given a sedative because dogs have anxiety when they are at the vet. That way we could spend quality time with him before we put him down.

My dog sat anxious for 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were there. When they gave him the sedative.they knocked him so far out.we never had any chance of saying goodbye. His tongue was dripping from the side of his face. I was horrified not to mention completely mislead about the process of giving my beloved dog into their end of life care. How can this happen anywhere? I have a horrifying memory of my beloved dog's last moments. This was preventative.if only they lived up to their word

Always professional and compassionate. When I was navigating through my dog's mysterious illness, Dr. Lori Paporello was put on the case. She was extremely dedicated and would hold phone conversations for as long as necessary. When money became an issue, she was absolutely understanding and provided very good alternatives that worked. Unfortunately, my dog passed away at the emergency vet in Deerfield. Dr. Lori Paporello called me and gave me sincere condolences and clarified what happened to my sweet boy when I asked. She listened to me as I explained my grief and gave me words of wisdom regarding death. I will be a faithful client for as long as I have animals (forever).

Professional, compassionate they have taken care of all my dogs for years.

These docs and techs are the best. Always trustworthy, considerate of time and safety, and willing to spend time helping you understand your pet's health when necessary.

Excellent service from the moment I step in the office to the end of my pets appointment. Ladies at the front desk are efficient, cordial and just super cool. My pets are handled and cared for by very knowledgeable, kind and understanding staff that take their time to question, explain and inform us. What a great place to take your pets too.
