At Valley Veterinary Hospital, we provide top notch veterinary care to cats and dogs in and around Hadley. To ensure our patients receive only the best care possible, we work diligently to maintain our status as an AAHA-accredited animal hospital. If you're looking for compassionate care and individual treatment for your furry friend, you've come to the right place.
Since 1976, the goal of the veterinarians and staff at Valley Veterinary Hospital has been to maintain a state of the art veterinary facility and a health care team committed to providing compassionate client service and veterinary care. Over the years our practice has grown from a small building located in what is now our parking lot, to our current 8000 square foot home.
We maintain a high level of quality by adhering to the strict standards set forth by the American Animal Hospital Association. Diagnostic imaging allows our veterinarians to look at your pet internally for clues about sickness or injury. Dental care is an essential part of your pet's overall health to prevent dental disease and tooth loss.

I've taken my cat here twice. First visit was great, super-nice, helpful vet who answered all my questions. Second visit, vet was running late (I understand emergencies), but my visit was extremely rushed, did not get my questions answered and the vet kept pushing tests I told her I didn't want and vaccines that weren't needed. Plus I had to call the office because they charged my credit card twice.

They been my dogs vets for 3 years now and I haven't had any complaints and have spent a lot of money with them. I just try to book an appointment because my dog Mickey it's sick with diarrhea, they wouldn't even book an appointment or look at him. Told me that they are booked for a month and to try someplace else even though they are my dogs vets. Really disappointed just hoping my dog doesn't die because they wouldn't look at him

They're ok. They're nice, and effective. My older cats have had good treatments there. What's not nice or effective is the fact they told us a tooth removal for our cat who has a chipped tooth is $1600. They didn't even tell us how bad it was. Since he's shown no signs that it could be dangerous or bad, that's absolutely insane. I'm hoping its just the place because I have read that it shouldn't be over $200, even for an infected tooth, which his probably is not. Not like I'd know though. If it's not just the place, I'll have to pray that it doesn't get any worse, because we don't have that kind of money. Maybe this is a mistake.

Didn't have to wait when I arrived for appointment. I found the place very clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. The veterinarian, Dr. Spiegel, is a very straightforward person and provided useful information. She also called two days after the appointment to follow up with my dog. I will definitely continue with them.

Just moved to the area and was anxious about finding a new vet: one of my dogs is large (100 lbs), has some health problems, and hates every vet without fail. Setting him up with someone new after years of working with one vet was stressful and not something I was looking forward to. But! Today, my worries went away. We saw Dr. Joe and had Chloe as our tech, and they were both amazing, kind, and patient with my two challenging dogs (and my slew of questions and concerns!).
We did have to wait over a month for an appointment, but this seems typical for the area/situation with the pandemic. I was allowed to go in with my dogs (one owner per room for vet appointments) and meet Dr. Joe in person, who was amazing, even as my dog clearly did not want to be examined. I am so happy that we have a great vet in our new area!

Went here after getting a notification that our dogs heart worm medication needed to be renewed. After calling and waiting in the parking lot for a half hour I was told that it wouldn't be ready for another hour and a half. So I decided to come back on my way home from work the next day. Only to have them tell me that I actually needed to bring my dog in for an appointment and that they were booked out for a month+. Well how's that supposed to work when my animal needs her medicine every month. Hoping she doesn't get sick in this time thanks for nothing valley Vet
