The vet techs and vets are top notch. They take great care of my senior Lab who has had problem allergies all his life. He gets the itchies and licks his paws raw numerous times a year. He also gets skin and ear infections which at this point are all resistant strains of bacteria. The vets treat him as if he were their own. He loves going there because they love to see him.
They often consult with other vets (ie allergist vet) to get ideas to try for him. My Lab Mix is much more shy but they coax her along gently so she doesn't get stressed. My cat, well, he's a Cat and doesn't much care for the experience but the treat him Gently.

Just transferred our boy here in order to continue his care with his amazing vet. The staff are wonderful and definitely create a family feeling. He's received great care so far and their pricing is amazing compared to his previous place. Finally, the hours are great. ------------ 2/14/22 Still go to Easthampton with our new boy who they absolutely adore and do such a great job with.
Their pricing for the quality of care still continues to exceed our expectations and I can't believe they are building a new building. Look forward to continuing with Easthampton for the long-run to have that peace of mind knowing they are getting the best care. Also, he just had his first dental clean and they are beautifully clean! Just a shame he's such a lazy chewer that we'll need to make dental cleanings more frequent.

It's a Fantastic Place to take your animals there! I used to go to a VCA and They were Expensive! The Vet (sorry, I forgot her name) is Excellent as are the staff! They're All a Wonderful Group of extremely Caring people! They're also a Lot Cheaper than Any VCA! I Wouldn't take my Puppy Anywhere Else!

I don't usually post reviews but I have just been completely blown away by the compassion and quality of care at Easthampton Animal Hospital. Laura at the front desk is so sweet and not only found a way for my cat to be seen the next morning but was so patient and generous with her time in answering my many questions and concerns. Dr. Vaughn was so thorough in explaining my cat's condition and all of the treatment options available over the phone and also wrote out an email with educational links and recommendations.
And not only is the care here such high quality, but they really work with you to make it affordable! Laura explained all of the costs to me very clearly and communicated my financial needs to Dr. Vaughn, who then worked with me extensively to create a plan of care that would be affordable. Overall I can't say enough good things about this place!

AMAZING! We went here for a second opinion after our vet of 12 years told us we needed to put our cat to sleep. This was the first time our old vet had to deal with something not routine and we were truly beside ourselves when we left the second appt. We were used to her gruff manner but when she didn't touch our cat AT ALL in two appts but was sure the cat had a brain tumor and needed to be put to sleep, we knew we needed to go somewhere else. Easthampton Animal got us an appt within a week and Dr Vaughn was the BEST!
She spent 12 minutes talking to us after the exam, she tested our cat and got him on a medication to solve his problem and he is back to his old self. I will tell everyone I know to go here moving forward, the techs and office staff were great too. Always friendly and helpful and I don't feel nervous handing my pets off to them. Our old vet used to tell us how grumpy and mean he was and apparently put that in his file.
When the tech at Easthampton Animal brought him back to us, she said "He's not grumpy, he's just scared. You just had to be nice to him and I was able to take his blood, no problem". That's what you want for you pet.

Super disappointed in Easthampton Animal Hospital after a horrible experience with them today. Hardly ever in my life have I left a negative review online but this one had to be shared. I wanted to give Easthampton Animal Hospital one more try after being disappointed by them in the past. Unfortunately, Dr Vaughn was impatient, frustrated, and rude when I tried to explain to her what my past experience was dealing with the same issue my cat was being seen for today.
I also felt that she was trying to sell me things that my cat didn't need. My cat gets a seasonal allergic reaction every year and I've been able to get one simple cortisone injection that has cured her, basically immediately. For some reason, EAH doesn't carry it which would be fine if they just had some kindness and patience in talking with me about it. Now, instead of the simple fix that I've gotten for the last 3 years, I have to give my cat medication every day for over a month, which takes over 2 weeks to start working meaning my kitty will be super itchy for 2 more weeks.
Another employee interrupted me repeatedly when I was trying to explain why I was confused by what the Dr. said. When I told her I don't appreciate being interrupted, she ignored me. When she brought my cat to my car, and handed me the paperwork, she nastily and sarcastically said "You're welcome!" I have really struggled to find a good vet in this area.
This isn't the first that that I've experienced rude staff and frustrated, impatient doctors. But it's definitely one of the worst experiences I've had. If you're a pet owner I would avoid the place.

Businesses serving the public has been difficult with the pandemic. Veterinarians are no different. They've had to figure out a way to see animals take care of them and sometimes have to put them down. Doing all of this while trying to maintain distancing and not have people inside can be hurtful but understanding. My one issue. Previous the other owners used to have a sign out on the front desk/door.saying that a person is there and their best friend is having their final moments and to please keep your voices down.
They would also have a candle lit. However although nobody can go into the clinic because of the pandemic when I was there with my dog there were people beyond the other door laughing and talking and I thought it was quite rude. They certainly weren't laughing at my predicament while in the other room with my dog who had just been put to sleep. But it does show that this new staff needs to learn to be more professional.
When the pandemic is over and people are allowed back in please put the candle back up so that when people are having their animal euthanized they don't have to hear other people laughing beyond the other door. They are good staff but not for me and I took my animals out of it and went to another vet.
