I love Danvers Animal Hospital! We bring all 3 of our dogs there. Dr McGinley is fantastic as is every doctor there! The front desk staff and techs could not be any nicer. My Coco had ACL surgery and all went great and I was beyond happy with her care not only during this but every time. Their sick call daily system works so smoothly . I’ve never had any problem getting our dogs seen when needed. Thank you to the entire staff at Danvers Animal Hospital, Happy Holidays to all!

Everyone was extremely nice and took good care of my pet. The receptionist with blue in her hair was super happy and kind and the nurse & the doctor herself were very helpful and reassuring. They gave me all the answers I needed to know and even printed out something for me to take home regarding questions I had about getting my pets spayed and neutered in the future.
The price was way less than I was expecting which is always a plus. My cat came back happy and safe & I'll deffinitley be returning if ever a time comes up. Thank you all so much!

I went here for the first time with my new cat and had a great experience! There is just one waiting room, but there's a "kitty corner", which is a part of the room sectioned off from the dogs and other animals. My cat had a great time looking at the bird feeder right outside the window. While there was a little bit of a wait, Dr. Michalek took her time with us and answered every single one of my questions plus more.
The staff was friendly and super helpful with getting my pet insurance in the system. It is very obvious that everyone here genuinely cares and wants the best for you and your animal. I'm looking forward to continuing care here!

We have been using Danvers Animal hospital for over 20 years. They have taken care of our puppies and were there for us when we have had to put down old and sick pets. They are great when it comes to the care you get when you have to put down a pet. We recently took our 5 year old rotti mix to get his annual checkup. All went great as usual. Chewie saw Dr. Bird who is just awesome!

One month ago my cat, Lily, died from a vaccine induced sarcoma that she received from this hospital. This is incredibly common in cats and at the time she got her vaccines I was unaware of this. The information was never shared to me and I was never asked if I wanted her to have a 3 year rabies vaccine before it was given. I thought perhaps this is new scientific information to the veterinarian community but have since learned it is not. Had the vets at the time educated me (or themselves) on my options or placed the vaccine in a different location Lily would still be alive today. PLEASE ask your vets what vaccines are given. Opt for 1 year rabies and not 3years.
If nasal injections are an option (like for distemper) use that instead of an injection. And ALWAYS ask where they inject the vaccines. Hind legs are best for survival odds. Ask lots of questions, even ones you think sound silly, and ask multiple vets if need be. I wish I had.

As always, Dr Michalek was so informative, always asking if I had any other concerns or questions. She thoroughly explained everything that was going on in my Pups digestive tract. as well as medication that would help her get back on track. And a " hydration bubble" was offered and I was so on board with that treatment. My pup has been a patient at Danvers Animal Hospital for 5 years now, and my since passed pup of 16 years was also a patient for all of her long years as well! Thank you for all you do to care for all of our loving pets Trina Evans ~~~ Middleton Massachusetts

Dr. Teague and the rest of the staff are all amazing. My dog is very difficult and protective but any time I have to bring her to Danvers, they are all very attentive to us. I have been going here for almost 6 years and have always felt that Dr. Teague takes his time with us, he never rushes us or makes me feel like any questions are to small. He's very caring with our dog and he's sensitive to all of the health issues that she has.
I have and will continue to recommend Danvers Animal Hospital specifically Dr. Teague ( but everyone is great there), to anyone I know that is looking for a vet. We live about 40-45 minutes away but it's worth the drive!

Had an early morning appointment, no wait. The staff was very friendly and responsive. They were very professional and helpful. A staff member even carried my cat and carrier out to the car for me since I was recovering from knee replacement surgery. Highly recommend Danvers Animal Hospital. Have been a cat customer for many many years.
