DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR PET! Our dog was injured in their daycare service due to lack of oversight. Their vet service is horrendous. The techs are impatient, rude, poorly trained and slow. Their doctors aren't great either. They have incorrectly diagnosed medical issues resulting in death. STAY AWAY.

We went in for our dog's annual exam in May. Now, in June, we are trying to fill his heart worm and flea medication but was denied the prescription because he is due for a worm test in July. This is bull since we were just there and they didn't tell us we will not be able to get his medications without the test. Had we known this, we would have prepared for it.
Our dog is currently traveling with my parents out of state. Now we have to find a new vet where he is and pay for exams that he doesn't need just to get his pills. I will not be using this vet again. Edit: received a call from the manager and she was very apologetic of our experience. She stated that since his test wasn't due until July, the prescription should have gone through.
She will also use this case as a training opportunity for her staff of what is permissible and what is not, and the lack of communication on impact to us with upcoming tests. I've changed the rating from 1* to 3* due to their willingness to set things right, the review would have been higher had we not need to go through the hassle in the first place.

I went to the veterinary side of pet dominion. I wasn't very happy. two stars because the price is decent, its super close to my home, staff are kind. My experience is that they never picked up the phone. My dog Nina had a few issues in which I had questions about. Whenever they did pick up the phone (after several attempts) I was informed that the vet would call me back but never received a phone call.
I asked them to give me a quote for surgery but never received it. They lost my dogs rabies tag. it took several times to get the records. When my new vet called to help get the records they gave incorrect information verbally. (i know this because i finally got the records via email and showed my new vet. My vet said they didn't get a lot of information) Overall an annoying experience.
When I informed my experience from pet dominion to my new vet they said they often hear bad things about pet dominion. Edit: The information is under my boyfriends name. Dogs name is Nina Saetuen.

I don't know what they do at this dog daycare, but my normally shy, quiet, reserved dog loves it. She gets super excited when we pull into the parking lot. And when I pick her up at the end of the day, she tells me all about her day by excitedly howling and squeaking at me for the first 10 minutes of our drive. The staff are friendly, the place is clean and well run.
It is comforting to know they are also a veterinary practice. I would definitely recommend this place for dog daycare. And if I ever need to board my dog, I would definitely bring her here.

In hindsight I am very sorry I took my beloved dog to this veterinarian practice, which was recommended by friends. Every time we boarded our dog there during our annual vacation, she had to be hospitalized and we incurred thousands of dollars. Additionally, one time I took my dog there because she had a small growth on her cheek. They proceeded to pull several of her teeth out!
And me, the naive customer, always thought well the vet must be right. Another time, i took my dog in because she had something in her ear that was bothering her. The vet simply yanked it out of her ear, instead of delicately trying to dislodge it. After 8 years and not knowing better, we left that practice -- good riddens!

Daisy the beagle needed some rehabilitation and strength training following a small stroke after undergoing a separate TPLO surgery. Justin worked with her to determine the best treatment option and we have seen steady and welcomed progress the past few weeks. Highly recommended if you need physical therapy services for your pet after surgery or other health event. Would definitely return! Justin was professional, knowledgeable, and answered all our questions on the way to getting Daisy fit and less fat.

I started taking my 1 year old dog to them back in December for just a once a week daycare to get my pup some more socializing while I'm working. Everyone there is extremely friendly and excitedly welcome my dog every time I bring him. His excitement every morning that we start heading there tells me every thing that I need to know about how well they treat him! They're simply wonderful and I am so glad to live nearby a place that I know will take great care of my buddy!

This is the first time I visited Pet Dominion and I was very impressed with their service. My 15 years old dog was very sick and we couldn't get her any appointment elsewhere at least 3 weeks out. Luckily, my pet sitter recommend this place and I was able to make an appt within two days. The staff I spoke to are caring and responsive. Dr. Annelise Myers was wonderful and professional, she performed a detail exam on my dog and took a full page of notes from what I told her about my dog's history.
I have never seen any vet like her in my 15 years vet visits elsewhere. She even had a new findings that no other vets have mentioned to me before. She gave me the final word that my dog's quality of life is poor and it's time to let her go. I was relieved to hear it from her because I trusted her professionalism and judgement. They are not going after the money and really care about your pet. I will strong recommend any pet owner wants quality service with reasonable price.

I am newish to the area and was looking for a vet. I called several places and was met with either rude people, unhelpful people, places that were not accepting new clients, and places that were booked for months. The staff and Dr. Brody at Pet Dominion were kind, professional, thorough, and were able to see my cat quickly. I am happy with my experience!

I took our Boxer-mix to get her 6 month Bordatella. The vet-tech called me for a review of "Gigi", how she was doing, type and amount of feeding and so on. I would like to have done this from home, as it was, I was trying to "juggle" the phone and Gigi, not an easy task. I had given a credit card that was charged $62 the week before. I understood that some folks don't follow up with appointments.
The vet called me to say that, besides being "energetic" that Gigi was fine and appeared healthy. She recommended a "Lyme Disease" vaccine, and I agreed. I was told that today's visit was $127 (Reasonable, I thought.) What I found to be the case, this didn't include the $62 charge that I authorized the week before. The total charge was, therefore, $189. This seems a bit excessive and I plan to ask why I was charged $62 twice, on the invoice. Overall, I was OK with their services.

I recently boarded my two small dogs (Stella and Vinny) while my husband and I went on vacation approximately 2 weeks ago. I had heard good reviews of Pet Dominion for boarding and day care from friends. I went for it! I am unsure what when on inside the place but I have never seen my dogs so excited to leave. When my dogs got home, they each drank a full bowl of water each, which makes me think they did not have adequate access to water the day before (Sunday) when the place is closed. Stella was also completely stained yellow on her chest and front legs (it still has not come out despite 2 baths and grooming).
We all know what yellow comes from-pee! Stella also had dry matted stool all over her butt and anus that I shaved off. I did not opt for a bath since I planned to take them for grooming the next day after pick up, but still. The dog should not be left soaked in urine-enough to stain-and with dry stool on their coats. Someone would have to be blind not to see this. Stella also had a cough when she got home.
Both dogs were extremely lethargic and unhappy for 3 days too. I understand there is a risk for these type of things when boarding dogs. Luckily, Stella is feeling better and does not require at medication. Would I recommend this place? Probably not especially for the $1100 price tag.

I rarely write a poor review of a business, but it is necessary after an egregious error. We recently took my daughter's cat to Pet Dominion for 8 days of boarding while we were on a trip. The cat is 7 yrs old and takes a number of medications. I told them this when I made the appointment, and they sent me a form to complete. When I asked if I needed to fax or email the completed form back, I was told just to bring it when we dropped him off.
We dropped him off with the form and full bottles of his medications in case we were delayed. They brought him out to the car when we picked him up but without the medicines. When I asked for them, I was told there was no medication in the record. I explained the dropoff, and and for the next 45 minutes I sat in my car having multiple conversations with staff who insisted they had no record of any medication.
Finally I spoke with the manager, who located the unused medicine. She apologized, refunded my money, and promised there would be an investigation. Thankfully the cat was fine, and it didn't cost us in money or the cat's health. But this was a terrible mistake on their part, which I hope doesn't happen to anyone else.

The vets and VT here are awesome! Took my cat for an annual vaccine and they did so wonderful for his annual health check. They checked his dental condition and found two painful absorptive lesions that was treated within 2 weeks! What an attention to detail. I know they're a super busy hospital and they took their time to make sure my baby was healthy Love Pet Dominion!

If I can get give zero or negative stars I would. Pet dominion is all about taking your money. BEWARE of this vet clinic! I typically do not give reviews but thought consumers need to be warned of Pet Dominion. We have been going to this clinic for over 15 years and when I called recently because my dog had an emergency, difficulty and rapid breathing, I was told they could not see him because they were fully booked.
I told them I prefer to see one of their vets because they have my dog's medical history and asked if the could make an exception. I was told they would call me back. After waiting for a call back for 3 hrs, I called again, only to be told they would not be able to see my dog. I could not believe that after 15 years of being a customer, they would not make an exception!
We then rushed him to a pet ER where we were advised that likelihood of successful treatment is slim. This was a shocker to us because just a month before, we were at Pet Dominion where he was examined for the same rapid breathing and was prescribed medications. The visit cost us about $900. We were never informed that his chances of getting better was slim. Again, they did this just to charge us an enormous amount of money.
To top it all, the vet asked to see him again for a follow up visit in 3 weeks. We returned after 3 weeks for a follow and paid $200, again not being told that his days were number. A tech then called after the f/u visit to say my dog is due for heart worm and influenza vaccines. We took him back and got the vaccines. Again, not knowing that his days were numbered. Sadly, Our dog was put to sleep at the ER on the day we rushed him.
To all pet owners, go somewhere else to get your money's worth. Do not trust Pet Dominion to truly care about your pet. This clinic is all about making money and getting your hard earned $$$$!

We have been going to pet dominion for our dogs medical needs forever but for the first time we used them for PT. Justin just completed our dog Kya's Physical Therapy after her CCL surgery and WOW. She was unable to walk on her leg for long and was constantly limping before she saw Justin. After 10 sessions with Justin she not only doesn't limp anymore, she is back to her happy self!
She is skipping around, getting on and off the bed and couch herself, and able to walk for much longer periods, again with no limping! We are SO thankful for Justin and Pet Dominion!

This is about their daycare services not the veterinary. I have a happy go lucky 2 year old dog who loves people and even loves his vet (not pet dominion vet). the first time we dropped him off he went happy. the next time we pulled up he jumped to the back seat and stopped waging. we thought it was weird but he went happily with the staff member. the next time he kept hiding from the staff member in my car, jumping from the front seat to the back to avoid the staff member. so we ask "do you crate them?" Their reply was "well they have suites with a few other dogs." turns out they put the dogs in kennels and then let them play for 1 hour and then back to the kennel for their "nap time" and then there is "lunch" which is really the staffs lunch while the dogs are crated and then they take them out of the crate for 1 hour to play and then back again into the crate, and then one more hour of play and that is it!
This is NOT what doggie daycare is! If I wanted him to be resting he would be at home sleeping in his bed, uncrated. My dog is not dumb if he wants to stop playing he will, he doesn't need someone to make a schedule for him. he needs to run, play and socialize with other dogs, which Pet Dominion does not provide. I think it is cruel that my dog has to be in a crate instead of playing with other dogs which is what is presented as day care.
We are not paying for him to rest, we are paying for him to play with other dogs. No wonder my dog kept avoiding the staff member! He doesn't want to be locked up for hours of the day in a cramped crate (suites as they call it) with other dogs where he barely gets to run and play.

Our doggy has been going to Pet Dominion for daycare, boarding, and vet appointments since we got adopted her almost five years ago. To say she loves it would be an understatement. As soon as I pull into the lot and she realizes where we are, she starts whimpering to get out of the car, leaps over me to get out, and drags me to the front door like her life depends on it.
When we could enter the building (pre-covid) she'd try to make her great escape into the daycare section anytime a staff member opened the door. When it's her turn to go to be escorted into daycare, it's "bye mom!" as she happily trots down the hall. She also goes crazy for the staff, and she doesn't like anyone except mom and dad. She's a special emotional needs dog and I feel that the staff do a good job of monitoring how she's doing, including which dogs she plays well with.
They also keep an eye on her when she's in boarding. For example, one time I picked her up from boarding, a staff member told me that they'd noticed she'd been doing her business more often than usual while there and to keep an eye on her at home to see if it was an indication of something more serious or just an adjustment to being away from home.
I can say from growing up with dogs that the majority of boarding locations don't notice those sorts of things. Overall we've been very happy with Pet Dominion and we even (half) joke that no one on the staff can ever leave and that we can never move.

I've been with Pet Dominion for almost 20 years now. We took my old dog there from about 2001 - 2015 (when he passed). They saved his life in 2006 diagnosing him with meningitis when other specialists couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. They are always very thorough and on top of everything! I got a new dog last year and went to a different vet solely because of the location where I live now.
After 6 months I went back to Pet Dominion, because they are the best. My dog had been losing fur on his neck for months and 2 different vets couldn't figure out why. One visit to Pet Dominion and he was diagnosed and his fur grew back in 2 weeks! Highly highly recommend!

We are very happy with the care Pet Dominion has given our new puppy. They are extremely friendly, caring and gentle. The doctor takes his time to carefully explain the care he is providing and thoughtfully answers all questions. Gives recommendations on vaccines and other treatments before proceeding, so there are never any surprises. The COVID procedures the staff have established are seamless, keeping customers protected.
I never even need to enter the building. Staff meets us at our car and takes puppy in for her check up and then brings her back. Billing and records are all available via email to make things super convenient. Happy to have chosen this clinic for our puppy!

Dr. Brody and his team have been so wonderful to our dog Jelly! We took him in for his first appointment at this clinic when he developed pain and irritation in his eye. Dr. Brody was very thorough with his diagnosis and even made time for a follow-up appointment when he was already fully booked. Though we couldn't save our dog's eye in the end, Dr. Brody made sure we had the help we needed to find a specialist and even made calls on our behalf to an ophthalmologist. The day after our appointment, we also received an email from the staff checking in on Jelly which was very kind. We 100% recommend this clinic!

I have been taking my two cats and my other former cat here for years and I like the service a lot. The veterinarian seem to really know what they are doing and they are very kind and loving to my cats. Last year we thought we would lose our senior cat Cleo, as she started to lose weight, eat very little and have troublesome stomach problems. She went to her bare bones. The vet caught the problem immediately, put her on the right medication and she is doing very well now.

I have two dogs and two cats. All animals use their vet, my dogs have utilized boarding several times, and I attempted to utilize cat boarding, but was denied due to their unwillingness to confirm vet records with the local humane society. Pros and reason for the two stars they are getting: Convenient one-stop shop and your pets will be safe here. Cons: Beware the nickle and diming!
There are hidden charges on many of their services, particularly as it relates to boarding. They do not clearly display the costs of their sometimes mandatory, sometimes not, add-on packages. They act annoyed when you ask to see a breakdown. They frequently do not give you all the information you need to know. ie. Boarding is an extra $30+ per night per dog on holidays because you are required to add-on their gold package.
They don't tell you that up front. The practice is deceptive. This place also does not keep good records, you often have to tell them the same information everytime you go. I have an adopted cat that they swear needs a booster, but they refuse to call the humane society to confirm that the cat is in fact up to date on ALL vaccinations. They have copies of the records! Is it laziness or an attempt to collection more money?
They have no problem giving my dogs vaccines, but somehow I need to pay for a heartworm test AND an exam for them to "refill" my dogs heartworm and flea meds. Which they are currently up to date on. It boggles my mind. Overall the customer service is severely lacking, even though they have MANY front desk staff. If you are in a pinch, and are willing to cross any hurdles, financial and otherwise, they put in front of you, your dogs will be safe and happy. But based on my 6-8 experiences, I cannot recommend Pet Dominion due to poor record keeping, hidden fees, and the ridiculous per night cost of boarding.

We have been using Pet Dominion services for over 5 years and overall impression is pretty good. The place is not impeccable but clean enough to feel comfortable when we bring our Yorkie for her checkup or immunizations. The staff is helpful, friendly and accommodating. The only thing is that it seems like every time we visit, there is a new vet and a new assistant and that is a bit disconcerting; if it is a good place to work it is a good place for our pets.
We didn't use boarding, so I can't comment on that. Yorkies have genetic GI and dental health issues, so we had a few dental cleanings and tooth extractions done. Everything went well and was always taken care of nicely and professionally. When our pup was just 1 year old, she had some serious digestive problems. Sometimes she refused to eat, sometimes she was vomiting in the morning.
We couldn't figure out what's wrong; all test results were negative. During one visit, we were talking to a veterinarian assistant and she suggested to try feeding her smaller portions more frequently and to give her a little snack before bed. The idea was that she might be getting hungry in the morning and her stomach acids made her nauseated.
That was so extremely helpful! Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the person to thank her publicly. Since that time the problem was solved and she never got sick in the morning. We do make homemade stew for our dog and that's all she eats, but that's another story and would be a review for a grocery store where we buy all the ingredients.
Pet Dominion is a good place and I'd recommend it to others. Price wise they are probably all the same. I wish it would be more affordable, but let's be realistic: clean, professional, good reputation AND affordable? If someone knows that place, please let me know.
