Animal Health Clinic

Website and posted door times say one thing but be careful! The lady I talked with on the phone about it was rude and has no care for an animal that needs help with the end of life in order to help be more humane. I tried to ask that they update tines and dates but instead she hung up on me. I will never take an animal to such a place ever. Uncaring, rude, unwilling to help hardly covers my experience here.

Dr. Sandy is absolutely amazing, the staff is friendly and easy to talk with on top of being genuinely compassionate for your pets care and well being. They talk with you and help you understand what is going on, not just tell you this is what you have to do and hand you a giant bill. I will forever trust my animals with Dr. Sandy and her amazing staff!

Confrontation and confusion is not suppose to be apart of care. Though it has been pleasant most visits, the staff are not clear on how to explain billings and issues that arise. Over the years, we have had many up and downs with this practice. For our family, the bad times unfortunately out weigh the good. Bedside manner, compassion and knowledge by all staff should be on the top of this list.

Unfortunately, switching vets. Dr. S is very good with my animals, but seem to get the same front desk staff that is always rude when I call and its infuriating. If they have to repeat themselves, they treat you as if you are annoying them using phrases such as "as I SAID TO YOU before" without letting you finish what you were saying. Understand staff are very busy and am always very respectful of their time. Unfortunately more than one bad experience has gotten us to this point.

I am very pleased with the care my pets have received at AHC. From minor issues to life threatening conditions, Dr Sandy & her staff have always responded as if my pets were their own. Everyone I have seen there has been knowledgeable & competent. I would not even consider taking my dogs anywhere else.

For many years we have taken our furry family member to Dr. Sandy and her staff. We know that when we take them to Animal Health Clinic they will receive the best care possible. Quite simply, they are the best and we highly recommend them.

Dr. Sandy Smith runs an efficient office with staff that welcome us to their office and care for our animals as if they were their own. COVID has been hard on our fur babies. Dr. Smith kept her office open to care for our four (maybe less) legged furry family members and offered curbside service with a smile through inclement weather. She offers alternative options for animals.

Her clinic offers underwater treadmill rehabilitation, full blood work, internal medicine, cardiology and behavior consultations onsite. What more could you ask for? She offers a variety of dog and cat food for young and old. The variety of treats / snacks are 5-star. She has a sympathy room to assist grieving pet owners. When you leave, you have complete documentation of services.

Let's not forget, she will go to the clinic when emergencies arrive. I cannot say enough about Dr. Sandy and her staff. I just love them, but more importantly, my animals love them. Thank you, and once again, we love you. Victoria Turner Ann Arbor, MI.

Dr. Sandy Smith is so great, took our recently adopted dog to her for a couple different concerns and she made sure he was comfortable the whole time while he was getting checked out. I have taken my dogs to Animal Health Clinic for years. Everyone there is awesome. You will love the doctors. Dr Sandy has been taking care of my animals for many years. I trust her and Dr Sandy has become a friend that always goes the extra mile and considers my feelings along with the pets. Thank you for everything you all do every day.

Dr Sandy and her crew are some of the best people taking care of my precious pup. I took him in this week for wound healing and they used their therapeutic laser on him and within a couple days he was mostly better and one more treatment and he is back to normal. I have know about therapeutic laser therapy but watching the results in front of my eyes was really impressive. The treatment is comfortable and simple for my dog and now he is well! Thanks Dr Sandy!

I have been taking my dogs here for over 10 years! Dr. Sandy and her staff always go above and beyond for our fur family. From the receptionist to the techs, everyone is great! We have 3 dogs, 1 which has had medical issues since he was young, Dr. Sandy walked me through every step and even came in early to save my Duke when it was a close call. All three of my dogs get excited when we go there, they are greatly cared for when there.

I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else! Thank you to everyone who works there for loving our animals as much as I do : We appreciate you all so much! Bentley, Duke and Moose love you guys!

Sandy and her team did a great job with our guy Link! We normally buy brand X for flea and tick and they even recommended a cheaper brand which does a better job! Always appreciate a knowledgeable and honest service. Cant recommend Animal Health Clinic enough!

We always get top notch care for our 3 dogs. Was able to get Cooper our German Shepherd in for his proheart injection (no monthly chews needed!) one and done for the year. Also got him up to date on his other vaccinations. Dr. Sandy found that he had an ear infection while doing his exam. She treated him and I don't even have to give him additional medication or drops. We didn't even realize he had it! We want the best for our fur babies and Animal Health Clinic always provides this for them.

I am so thankful for the team at the Animal Health Clinic in Fenton. Dr. Sandy and her team have provided great care to our chocolate lab pup and they are so patient with me! They always take the time to explain everything as well as provide great advice! They have been extremely accommodating when we have needed urgent responses and my pup loves going there! I'm so glad we have a local vet that provides great service!

I absolutely LOVE this veterinarian office. Every single member of this office was amazing! From the receptionist who answered the phone to the vet assistants to the actual veterinarian, they were all absolutely supportive, compassionate and kind. The staff even called me the next morning to check on my baby girl. I've never met such an amazing office with people who work from their HEARTS. I can't thank them enough for literally saving the life of my baby girl.

Had a great experience here. Arrived fairly early for an appointment for a baby (4ish week old) kitten. They got us right back into a room so we didn't have to wait around with the other animals for our little furry friend to get scared. We didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes before some came back to start the initial exam and get the paperwork filled out.

Between the tech and vet, we had a thorough examination of the little one, were helped out with questions about care (since we weren't used to caring for such a young critter), and had an overall great experience. They even took a photo of our little guy and gave it to us as a memento. While we eventually handed the little one over the his new family since he was a foster, we're starting to take our other two animals here now in place of our old vet (which was overpriced and we'd wait for hours).

Staff is rude and not helpful. When we ordered our dog's heart worm medication, they refused to fill it and wanted us to purchase from them. We're looking for a new vet.

The Doctors are Always very thorough with their exams. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. I trust them implicitly with my dogs and would highly recommend them.

Dr. Sandy is excellent - she is personable and takes time talking with us as "pet parents". She has always answered our questions - making sure we understand recommendations clearly. The office is very clean and spacious. They have accommodating office hours for working families. Tonya at the front desk is also friendly & very helpful. We have always been able to get appointments in a timely matter. We trust our 3 dogs to Dr. Sandy & her staff. Thank you for all you do!

Love this vet. They are always quick to get us in, always there to fill a script over the phone and are thorough, caring and understanding of all situations that are need to be considered in the care of your animals. Plus the office is so spacious, clean and the staff is so friendly!

This was a first time going there. The staff was very friendly and professional, the clinic was very clean. I am extremely happy with it and I will continue to take all my pets to the Animal Health Clinic.

Our large breed dog has had issues for months. They tried several things which didn't work. Then the dreaded could be rumors or cancer. Took him for x-rays at another vet office and they were clear. When told he needed a CT scan next and I told them I couldn't afford the $2100 they were quite rude to me. I love my dog. He's a member of the family. If he were a member of the vets family wouldn't they have worked with me???

Took him to another vet now I question any diagnosis this one gave me!!
