We had our first appointment with Dr. Douglas Schmidt today and I have nothing but good things to say about him! Every veterinarian we’ve seen at Patton has been awesome. Dr. Schmidt is very experienced and knowledgeable. He made me feel so much better about my situation (my cat started having seizures) and I feel confident that my cat is in great hands. I would recommend Patton to anyone!

Clean facility. Vet techs are caring and gentle. Vets are patient with all my questions and very caring during exam and shots.

I'm very pleased with their care. They are good at trying to schedule for emergencies, seem very knowledgeable, are very good with their patients, and make sure I understand whats going on. I've met 3 vets so far, and each one has been good.

Highly recommend Patton Vet Hospital! We have been going here for several years and they have always given the best care for our fur babies. They have always given us a no BS approach that was always about care and not about how much they could make off of our pets! As long as we live in the York area we will always call Patton our pet hospital!

Our dog has pretty severe anxiety issues, and we sought out Patton Veterinary for help, as they are a certified "Fear-Free" facility. What an AMAZING change from the negative/traumatic experiences we had at other vets before! They provided us with a medication "glad pack" that allowed our dog to be more calm prior to his appointment, and we ALL benefited from it!

The entire staff was genuinely caring and patient, and Dr. Schmidt was superb during the exam. Special shout out to staff member Shannon who also went well above and beyond for us, before and after the appointment. Excellent service all around! THANK YOU!

I have never had a bad experience at Patton Veterinary Hospital. The entire staff are the most wonderful kindhearted people. I would never go anywhere else! So knowledgeable and always willing to take the time to explain the situation. I love Patton!

Dr. Kevin did a fantastic job with my bearded dragon! He described each procedure he was going to perform, explained any extra costs, and is very knowledgeable about reptiles. I even received a message post-visit with some extra thoughts from him to better my bearded dragon's care. I would definitely recommend him for your reptile needs!

We took our puppy Oakley here today for the first time. It was a great experience! The staff is super caring and kind. The Dr and tech were happy to answer all questions that we had and they took great care of Oakley!

The doctor we had was very very good! He took care of my dogs diabetic problem I had no idea that a continuous glucose monitor could be used to keep an eye on her blood sugars to get better handle on her insulin needs I was able to purchase the device from Walmart at a fraction of the cost and I'm waiting now for my appointment to have it inserted on to my dog and we can watch her sugar needs!

This Veterinary Center is more like a hospital in that they have a door just for cat services and regular dog services and also an emergency entrance for emergency need thank you Patton animal Hospital

Our first visit with our Maggie was a great experience. Maggie has had allergies four years now and Dr. Kevin took his time with Maggie and provided us hope of relief for her.

I went with my son and his first puppy who was sick. The staff was so friendly and kind. They took really good care of Marlon.

We have taken all of our pets here since 1995. The doctors and staff have always taken very good care of our feathered and furried friends. They have kept them healthy and when it was their time to go to the Rainbow Bridge, they were caring, helpful, and understanding.

Dr. Walters was truly amazing at a very sad time we put our fur baby to sleep. She was very clear in telling me what she was doing. She even petted my dog after he was gone and said, Rest Easy to him! The nurse assisted her, Sara was super sweet! It was very peaceful at a difficult time! Thank you!

I was so worried about my dog. They took really good care of him and he came home in one piece minus the tumor! This was my first experience with a vet office and I'm glad it was with them. Not to mention the price was not as high as I thought it would be. Plus everyone there was super nice and they even got my good boy in to surgery a.s.a.p all in all they turned something that could have been devastating into something good! Thanks Patton

I have just started as a client at this practice and could not be happier. My dog Charlie has had major issues with previous veterinary visits elsewhere, to the point that he had to be fully sedated in order to receive vaccinations or have blood drawn. I searched for a practice that was fully certified as Fear Free and found Patton Veterinary Hospital.

Even though it is about a 50 minute drive for me to get there, I decided to give it a try. I spent several weeks bringing my dog in for "happy visits" ahead of time to familiarize himself with the hospital and the staff. Everyone was very accommodating of me doing this, which I very much appreciated. Our "real" visit was yesterday and to my great relief, all went well. Dr. Spencer, the vet who saw Charlie, and Mandy, the technician who assisted her, were wonderful and Charlie accepted their handling of him without a problem.

Support staff have been very kind and helpful to me as well. I'm very grateful to have found a veterinary practice that can successfully work with fearful pets (and anxious owners!).
