They literally put vaccines in my dog without my consent because of a big miscommunication problem. The manager (who should be the better informed) claims to have cero responsibility. This is unacceptable

Friendliest staff of any human or animal care facility I have been to in the last couple years. However, they mis-booked one of my three appointments (I would have been more likely to sign up for 6:30am appointment than the 6:30pm that they booked me for, but I had 7am in my calendar - the same day and time of my previous 2 appointments.) Great hours.

Easy parking. Very comfortable waiting area that doesn't have a strong pet smell and separates dogs and cats. Their prices are higher than my previous vet in Arlington. They are risk adverse regarding vaccines and you need to get them all to use their grooming and doggie day care. They do not work with online pharmacies and since my annual appointment does not line up with when my dog's meds are in need of a new prescription I either need to pay their higher prices or make a special trip to pick up a prescription an mail it in which is a nuisance I don't have time for.

Never never never come here. Worst animal hospital in the universe. They put vaccines that my dog didn't need without my consent and the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. Safe yourself the trouble and Never use this service.

I've always had good experiences at Old Dominion Animal Hospital. Everyone is professional and takes the upmost care with my pets. But for bigger procedures, such as neutering, extensive blood work, dental cleaning, etc., unless you don't care about spending a lot of money, I recommend expanding your search for a vet outside the DC area. For example, I save $1,000 and more on dental cleanings (and that savings jumps up dramatically if my pet needs to have any teeth removed) by going to a vet that's an 1.5 hour drive away. And the vet I go to seems just as knowledgeable, professional, and caring. This area is more expensive all around, and vet care is no exception.

The people who work here are all so incredibly kind and patient. The space feels welcoming and pleasant and clean. I've boarded my cats here before and had them seen for health care, and both experiences have been wonderful. I really can't say enough about how caring they are-and they are very clearly NOT just trying to charge as much as they can for whatever they can, which sadly cannot be said about every vet group. They are without a doubt the best practice in the DC area!

I was very happy with the services provided for my cat when she became sick suddenly and our usual vet was not immediately available. The cost may have been a little higher, but my interaction with Old Dominion and the curbside services provided was very positive. I recomend them and appreciate them doing the tests we needed quickly even though we had no history with them.

All tuckered out after a day at daycare! Both our dogs enjoy daycare and boarding (back when we traveled). The staff is amazing and showers our dogs with love.

My boyfriend and I are first time dog parents. We needed a vet and honestly this vet was the first to pop up on our Google search plus It is close to our apartment. I am so happy that we picked this place! Dr. Austin is super knowledgeable and spent almost 30 mins on the phone with my boyfriend and I answering questions about first time pet ownership.

I really appreciated the time she spent answering our questions especially since we couldn't go in the clinic since we got our puppy Reese in April 2020 during the very beginnings of covid. Our pup Reese got spayed there too and the clinic made the process super smooth. The front desk has done a great job of always calling us back with any questions we had. They're great! Very attentive, smart, and great at what they do. My dog was pooping blood.so much so that it scared me half to death. For a very reasonable cost they were able to identify that it was just intestinal irritation and diarrhea resulting from us being terrible dog parents and giving him too much human food. It must have been the cayenne.

I'm kidding. They were lovely and understanding and didn't make us feel bad at all. Plus they let calmed me down and assured me that an anti-diarrheal and a couple of days of observation at home would likely be all that was necessary to solve the problem. They were right and it saved me a ton of money.

The most experienced & great Veterinarian in McLean area. They listen and take care of my pets. They love my pets and treat them with kindness and care. Love Dr. Felton, Dr. Robertson and Dr. Austin. The staff, nurses and technicians are great. Also love their boarding and they explain everything. They also use the best meds for my pets and they explain the side effects.

Everyone should understand the side effects before you give the meds to your pets and this group makes sure you understand. No limits to ask questions. Thank you so much for being kind and such professionals for my pets Greatly appreciate it.
