We love Macedon Veterinary Care. We followed Dr. Lovelock there from a previous veterinary clinic and are very pleased. The staff is always caring and professional. We truly feel that they have our dogs' best interest at heart. We have had the pleasure of bringing a new puppy to be seen and the heartbreak of them seeing us through the end of our dog's life. We always feel they are sharing that experience with us with their care and compassion. Thank you!

My dog was sick, but had not yet had her first appointment with MVC as a new patient. They saw her the day I called. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Accommodations for pets' comfort are made, such as a covered scale rather than bare metal, and pads on the exam tables rather than bare metal. The vet greeted my dog on her level, on the floor, before doing the exam.
My fear aggressive dog made no attempt to bite them, which she has a history of. The day after our appointment, we received a follow-up call to check on her status. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

Incredibly happy with the care and service from the time I called until the time I walked out the door. My pups were happy and comfortable, I was informed of everything that was happening and asked multiple times if I had any questions. Very thankful to have Macedon Vet to trust with my precious pups.

My dog and I have been coming here for 5 years and I have always been treated with respect and love. All my questions are answered with patience and I can tell they care about the work they do. My dog recently had an emergency visit to this location and was seen the same day within and hour of me calling. Even with them being extremely backed up and spread very thin they got him in for X-rays, blood work, and a GI panel within 2 hours.
They did 10x more testing than the emergency vet in Henrietta quoted me for the same price. I definitely recommend this vet even with the shortage of staff, longer wait times, and scheduling difficulties that every vet in the area is experiencing.

This people are amazing. They were so nice on the phone, showing empathy and that they truly care for pets. After calling all vet office, emergency vet and urgent care vet at the city, all of them said no we can't see your pet even though she was having seizures. Macedon Veterinary Care open their doors for mu dog. The service was amazing. The staff very caring. My dog is on medicine now for her seizures. But she is in good health. Macedon Veterinary Care is going to be her regular doctor now. Thanks!

We had an issue at our previous veterinary hospital when our favorite doctor left. We needed to make a change quickly. When my dog lost a tooth, I asked my local friends for a recommendation and this is the place that a few trusted people directed us to. It's not as close as our previous vet, and we miss our former doctor terribly, but the veterinarians at this place are really wonderful and they took incredible care of our dog.
The front desk staff got us in to be seen within about 10 days, which felt a little long to me since I knew my dog was in pain, but we were first time patients so I accepted it. This place specializes in dental issues, so they were able to diagnose and give us options to treat the infection immediately. We were able to schedule surgery right away.
What I liked the best about the whole process was that they had someone come in and explain each step with images of the x-rays and what it all meant for our dog. They took the time to answer all of our questions and the doctor even called the day after surgery to make sure our dog was still doing well. Some other noteworthy things about this place is they have monthly payment options available and annual plans to save money overall. I'm happy to bring both of our dogs here.

I had to look for a new veterinarian after mine retired. Dr. Z was the best! She is very thorough. Where another vet didn't even bother to look, she found the problem. She gave me options as far as cost and a very fair estimate. Thanks to her I think my missy will have a few more pain free years. Thank you Dr Z!
