Not only are the vets very knowledgeable and professional but they make you and your pet feel like there is no one else there except you. Everyone is friendly, kind and professional. My dogs actually play and beg for treats in the exam room, showing they are relaxed and trusting even though they are getting poked and prodded. EXCELLENT! Thank you Dr Richenstein, Dr Eddy and all the techs and staff!

Always fantastic! We have seen at the Drs here and they are all so friendly and kind. We just recently had to put our dog down and they sent us multiple condolences. They have been great to also get us in quickly for appointments when we have needs arise with our animals!

We have been coming to this practice since our beloved Dr. Barry Brown retired, he was our vet, friend and savior for 26 years. In the beginning we were impressed, ,,,,,, then things went south. A different Vet every time. No one stays. Hard to connect. In the process of loosing our Maddy, I made a phone call and had to beg them for help. Big thanks to Dr Todd, no longer with this practice.

Since then we have seen several vets, not able to build a relationship and caring feeling for our dogs. Recently, our Moll Bea was at the last moments of her life. We took her to Emergency Vet in Henrietta. We found compassion, concern, love and understanding along with gentleness. Mendon Village Animal Hospital removed our beloved Molly from the pet portal. Never got a call, a card, no acknowledgement whatsoever. Shame and more shame. We are looking for a new Vet.

My dog had an ear infection and I called every vet in town. No one could see her for weeks or even months. When I called Mendon Village Animal Hospital, the receptionist was very helpful, finding me a cancellation so that I could have my dog seen by a vet right away. The building was clean and the people kind. The vet took plenty of time with me explaining my dog's condition and having tests done.

The medications have been helping a ton and the issues are almost cleared up now. Upon leaving, I expected a bill that was hundreds of dollars more than it was. Later that day, I started receiving texts from the hospital making sure I didn't have any questions and walking me through the method of medicating my dog. I so appreciate the kindness and help that was shown to me at this hospital and will continue to come back with both my animals.

We have been taking our Havanese to Mendon Animal Hospital for six years. Every single person there is so kind and compassionate. They treat Toby like he's their own pet. They are always really great about getting our little man in quickly with anything that might pop up. Not easy to do during a pandemic. They are so helpful and responsive with any questions.

I've never felt pressured to do anything. They explain everything and include me in formulating the best plan of care. The office has handled COVID extremely well with precautions to keep everyone safe. I trust them 100% with our fur baby!

We recently moved to the area and started taking our dogs here about 6 months ago. This team has been excellent. They diagnosed our senior dog with Cushing's Disease on our very first visit. This had been dismissed by our previous vet several times. The recommended treatments that followed required several tests and medication but the improvement in quality of life it is 100% worth it.

We have seen Dr. Mattson, Dr. Tandle and Dr. Eddy. The doctors, clinicians and office staff are all very friendly and compassionate. It is obvious they care about their pet patients. We are very pleased with the care they have provided our dogs.

Mendon Animal Hospital has been great with both of our dogs! We switched after moving to Mendon and I'm always nervous about finding a good vet for my babies, especially when I can't be in the room with them. But they are wonderful, even gave my dog a toy when he left(which they are obsessed with)! They answer all my questions and i know my animals are in good hands. Thank you guys!

Warm friendly and professional. Treated me like I was a patient there even though I just took our cat in for an ultrasound. Compassionate and detail-oriented made for a comforting visit for our sick cat.

I have never dealt with a more compassionate, friendly, group of people. While every staff member is professional, the vets are wonderful. it seems that they are able to hire vets with similar personality type: intelligent, patient, and understanding. They take the time to explain things, without rushing through. They listen to my questions and concerns without sounding impatient. Recommend without hesitation!
