Thank you Leigh! My daughter while watching her Grandmother's cats found George no longer having use of his legs and needed a vet. Our vet of almost 15 years was too busy to accommodate her. I called Baldwin Harbor Animal Hospital explained that she was alone there and that we needed for George not to suffer and that we were having difficulty getting him seen.

She immediately got him in. They helped arrange payment over the phone from her Aunt that she was told to contact about any issues. They let her stay with George until the end. Again thank you Leigh he was loved by us all and your help in limiting his suffering meant a lot.

Exceptional service the Vets are nice the staff are amazing I'm going to make this my dogs primary care vet. The compassion and love that they give is unmatched.

Baldwin harbor animal hospital is hands down the best animal hospial. Dr. McGowan and Dr. Freer and both amazing doctors. Very clean offices and professional staff. Dr. McGowan has been my family's veterinarian for many years and has always been friendly and very thorough. Had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Freer one morning when my mischievous puppy had an obstruction from eating too much grass, we were able to rush right over and meet Dr. Freer for an exam and x rays. Highly recommend!

Stay away! You wouldn't want to bring a fly here! I brought my 8 year old Labrador Retriever here for a check up. He does not like the vet and gets scared so out of percaution we muzzle him. But that wasn't enough for the vet he saw yesterday on top of doing that she then covered his head with a towel like a wild animal and then the vet went on to tell my wife that she would not squeeze the tumor on his backside which she then did which lead to my dog having to have emergency surgery less then 24 hours later.

And the worst part is when we brought him back because we couldn't stop the bleeding the vet went on to say that she didn't have time in her schedule to help him and we would have to seek out a specialist to help stop the bleeding and remove the tumor. I highly recommend that you do not use this place our dog won't be going back again.

I love Dr. McGowan. She and her staff always do the best to make our dog feel comfortable and better. She goes over from A to Z so we always know what to expect and going forward how to deal with the situation. I will recommend Baldwin Harbor Animal Hospital. Daisy out dog went there so sad came out with joy. Made our daughter happy just to see Daisy jumping with joy. Never wanna see an animal suffer neither. Keep up the great job and stay safe.

WE LOVE Dr. Shields! She took amazing care of my almost 17 year old Mini Dachshund, Chestnut, during his annual check up yesterday. She is extremely gentle and thorough with him. I also have 4 year old Chihuahua, Basil, who receives excellent care from Dr. Shields. All my questions are always answered in a way that I understand. The tech staff is also top notch! Dani was super yesterday with Chestnut! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for always taking such good care of my four legged babies!

The hospital was excellent, they made my Cookie feel better right away. Dr. Freer was very professional and nice. Everyone was very kind and I felt very comfortable taking my little guy there for his cough. Of course the most important thing is that my little poodle got well, but this was a good experience considering the circumstance! Thank You! Recommend to other pet parents!

Been here years ago and recently returned with my moms dog who became injured. Cannot thank the staff here enough from the initial phone call to the office visit, then to the follow up call they were spectacular! Compassionate, patient, thorough and did I say compassionate? Dr. Freer and her team were marvelous and made the visit so much easier to handle. Thank you for everything! Definitely coming back with our other pets

This vet is amazing. I personally love Dr Shields. She is an amazing vet who truly cares for each and every pet. She's very understanding and takes good care of my dog. I've been with this vet for a few years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always so friendly and never hesitates or complains when you ask them questions. They all handle animals really well with extreme care.

They are so caring. They remodeled the whole front office. The vet is always kind to our mini chihuahua lil bit. Not going to lie, it is expensive but all veterinarians are. Good service.
