Proper diet and nutrition can help your pet fight against disease, maintain a proper weight, and promote the overall well-being of your pet. Annual wellness exams evaluate your pets overall health, detect problems before they become serious, and keep them on track to live a long, healthy life.

Always a positive experience. Pleasanton Veterinary Hospital has been our vet for around 20 years. The doctors, technicians, Beth and Suzanne at the front desk - everyone is friendly, kind and caring. Our cats have seen different doctors over the years, and I have always felt they were in good hands. New office space is great, too!

We love the whole office. They are so loving and caring to our dogs. I feel they are safe when I have to leave them there. During COVID it was hard not going in but they all made sure our dogs were comfortable and felt safe and we felt confident they would get the best care. Beth and Suzanne always make us feel like family. We now have a new puppy and got to go to new office. It was all so wonderful. They are all wonderful Thanks from the Riddell's

All of my dogs have been cared for by the vets and staff at Pleasanton Animal Hospital since 1985. Everyone who works here has a love for animals. They are excited to see a new puppy (and kittens), their regular tail wagging customers, and when a pet's time has come, they make it as easy and comfortable as possible for both owner and pet. The care has always put my pets interest first. The customer service has never given me a reason to look for a different vet in all these years.

The best Vet staff and Doctor I have met. They are busy but they make sure your are informed, awesome bed side manners of following up, letting you know about their schedule and time line and keeping you posted. I was on his for say 10 mins and got disconnected, they called me back later, I never expected this from them and felt good. Dr Shapiro spent about 30 mins talking to me about my dog during my appt time. Felt my canine was in very good hands

If only all businesses had such nice people! Here it is affordable and the service is very caring. I was so frustrated with other vets I dealt with in South San Jose and Palo Alto. The other vets had no empathy and they wanted to charge an arm and a leg, pushing for same day surgery of the wrong limb, and not answering my questions stating that they will answer it next time or the next specialist will answer the questions.
With the care I've had so far here, I do not regret the 1 hr drive. Pleasanton Veterinary Hospital has called back to answer questions and followup on concerns regarding the surgery. I will recommend this vet hospital 100% to anyone I know. So far so very worth it!
