Ping is a fighter, took 3 of us just to clip nails and blood work, but once he saw cookies as the reward, he relaxed. Dr. Hemmer took an amazing care of Lilo, she did all the work herself instead of passing it to a tech which as a dog owner I can appreciate. Plus she was much faster, and prepped to go, which helped Lilos anxiety. Love them all.

Zero if it were an option. $240. of a $643.00 bill for blood, urine & fecal samples but never told me that I needed to get the urine & fecal. Not able too get urine from them so I said to refund me that portion of the bill & instead this is what they sent me.

I appreciate that the vet, Dr. C, called me twice with detailed information about Falcos medical conditions and recommended treatments. She also explained how to use the medications. She did an ear cleaning and culture which led to the proper medication. This drop off visit was extensive and thorough. Excellent VAM

We are visiting from out of state and our 2 year old Golden Retriever injured one of her claws. They were able to get us in between patients and took care of her injury quickly and thoughtfully. They were excellent at communicating costs and treatment options. She is recovering nicely and within 24 hours we received a follow up call. Kind, excellent care and affordable. We can't thank them enough for the wonderful care they gave to our girl.

I just took my beloved nearly 18 year old cat to see Dr. Greg Carlton at Vergennes Animal Hospital during the Covid Crisis. He had blood work and a full exam. My cat came home like nothing happened and I was very happy with how we were treated. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Carlton and I trust him with my animals. We also use Dr. Anja Wurm for home visits and love her too. Thank you Vergennes Animal Hospital. Their whole staff has been amazing!

So I took my dog into the vet multiple times because I was having problems with my beagle. He was having problems with diarrhea and limping. After spending alot of time and money they told me that my dog eats a bunch of rocks in the woods I should musle him outside and theres a bunch in his bladder that should pass threw. Well my dog doesnt eat rocks and after seeing a second Vet I found out that beagles are known to get bladder stones and have problems. 5 trips to Vergennes to have them tell me he eats rocks. 2 trips to another vet I get to the root of the problem. Vergennes is very reasonably priced but there work reflects the price, very inexperienced vets

Always super professional and care for your animals like their own. Dr Mark was the best when it was time to let my boy go, went as car as coming to our home to do it. Now he cares for my new rescue and she loves him!

Dr. Greg is an outstanding doctor! He’s so compassionate and really listens. I trust him with my Bandit. I love seeing so many talented graduates from Vergennes! VAH is top of the line in my book.

I love everyone who works here! Everyone is really responsive and helpful. The Vets listen and always offer multiple treatment options and explain them well. I really appreciate this as I have had other Vets just tell me what to do as if there was only one answer.

Dr Greg and all the veterinarians and staff at Vergennes Animal Hospital (VAH) are top notch! We have been a customer of VAH for 20+ years and they have helped us in the best and worst of times. All my life my pets (6 pets, really my furry kids/siblings if I am being honest) have been cared for by VAH. My almost 12 year old Boxer, Schilling, loves VAH so much that I am fairly certain that he has faked an illness or 2 to go get his VAH families attention and love.

We trust VAH to do what's right and to treat our pets and us with kindness and caring. Schilling and Scherzer wanted me to mention that they love "checking themselves in and out with Rosie or Laura and getting more than their fair share of the special treats" (see the picture on the webpage of Schilling "checking in" :). I can't say enough good things about Vergennes Animal Hospital. Every staff member from the front desk, to the exam rooms to the surgical area takes excellent care of the animals and people that walk through the door. I have three special needs dogs, and each of their quirks is taken in to account at every visit.

We adopted our English Bulldog Mr. Jack Pickles over 3 years ago. He is now 12 years old and the love of our life! He has had several health issues in the past due to his age and the staff at Vergennes Animal Hospital have been AMAZING with him! They love him as much as we do and in return for a dog that is scared to be around a lot of people he actually enjoys going to the vet! Dr. Greg and team are very knowledgeable and take the time to work with each individual pet as if they were their own.

They know "one size fits all" does not apply to all pets and we know if Mr. Pickles has to go to the vet he will be well taken care of. By far they give incredible service, we are lucky to have them as a resource!
