Services
At Large Animal Medical Associates we perform thorough physical examinations to help evaluate your animal's health. We will assess the body condition and overall health of your animal, as well as take the time to educate you on any conditions or abnormalities that may be noted during the exam. We will also consult with you on any concerns you may have about your animal's health, behavior or general care. We strongly recommend yearly physical exams so any disease processes can be prevented or detected early.
An important part of our mission is making the cost of optimal care as easy and manageable for our clients as possible by offering several payment options. Large Animal Medical Associates now requires a credit card or Care Credit card on file for all clients unless paying at the time of service with cash or check.
LAMA now has the ability to perform upper airway endoscopy on-site. We are able to provide video endoscopy to our clients, as well as referrals from other veterinary practices, so that problems can be diagnosed or eliminated on the premises. On-the-farm video endoscopy allows for less stress on both the animal and owner because we are able to come to you, negating the need to trailer to a hospital. By using video endoscopy, we give the client a recording of the session to keep for themselves, or give to their veterinarian to review.
Chiropractic care is a holistic approach to the well-being of your animal. Holistic therapies are designed to work with all external and internal influences on an animal in mind. Chiropractic care was developed based on the intimate relationship of the spinal column to the nervous system and biomechanics of an individual.

Dr. Steve saved my Nigerian Dwarf. She was rejected at birth and cold when i found her. I honestly think if he wasn't there then she would not be here today.

I highly recommend Large Animal Medical Associates. Dr. Angelos is our favorite. He is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate and has been a blessing to our goat farm. Life and death on a farm can often be an intricate web of happiness and sadness, and LAMA handles it all with so much professionalism. We are indebted to them for all their kindnesses. From answering my calls and emails, to examinations, to surgery, to euthanasia there isn't ever a detail missed and I am forever grateful.

These people were VERY professional and accommodating over the phone although we never ended up needing their service. If I ever needed them, I'd certainly give them a call.

The best, most personal vets around! LAMA cares about every animal they see at a personal level. We are lucky to have such caring and qualified vets local to us.
