Northwest Veterinary Associates is a predominately dairy practice located in St. Albans, Vermont with six veterinarians on staff. Our mission is to serve the regional dairy community with progressive, competent, compassionate animal health care service enabling our producers to be profitable and achieve their goals. We offer services in reproductive programs, vaccination protocols, sick animal management, biosecurity plans, cow comfort consulting, 24/7 emergency service, baby calf management, milk quality troubleshooting and monitoring, parasite control, nutrition evaluations, and employee training.

Computer-assisted software program interpretation with the ability to get the full value from your Vermont or Northeast DHIA records. Heat synchronization programs are modified and designed to fit the individual farm's needs. Strategic De-worming Program designed for individual farms and age groups and timed to retrieve the largest economic gain.
The Franklin County Dairy Discussion Group was started in August of 2009 as a continuing education and networking opportunity for our clients at Northwest Veterinary Associates. In a time of enormous stress conditions facing the dairy industry, Northwest Vets is happy to help give producers a forum for sharing ideas, spending time together, and listening to presentations from dairy industry leaders. Perhaps more importantly, we hope this forum will also enable producers to strengthen their relationships with their peers in the region.
