Palmer Veterinary Clinic

It can be challenging to find a veterinary clinic and a veterinarian whose primary purpose is to provide good medical care for our non-human family members, and a veterinary practice that truly finds (if not makes) the time to accommodate scheduling of appointments in a timely fashion. Prior to moving to Clinton county, we researched and interviewed a few veterinary clinics in the area.

At the time, we had three Weims and two of them had an array of medical complications which included Addisions disease, anxiety disorder, Cushings disease, gall bladder disease, and a seizure disorder The health and welfare of our four-legged children are crucial to us. Finding Palmer, interacting with the staff, and of course having Dr. Sara as our family doc, we are so very thankful to know that our beloved Weimaraners are able to receive stellar medical care whenever necessary. I had a fantastic experience and will be telling my friends and family to switch! The staff members were friendly and efficient. I asked to have my dogs nails trimmed while we were there and the techs did the best job I've seen in a really long time, and my dog doesn't make it easy. The whole experience was 30-40 minutes with shots, exam, nails, and questions!

I've waited over an hour to just get my dogs nails trimmed at another vet in town so this was wonderful. Also, the vet and the techs actually read my dogs records before entering the room which seems like common sense, but doesn't happened at other offices I've been too. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a good experience and reasonable pricing!

I have brought many pets here over the years and have always had quality care. I have had both dogs and cats and they all were treated well and like they were part of the family. They take the time to listen to your concerns and answer your questions. I have also (unfortunately) have had to say goodbye to a few pets over the years and they have always made the worst experience as good as possible. They are truly the best vet office around and I am forever grateful for them.

The staff is friendly and very pet oriented. All the vets we have met are very knowledgeable and empathetic. Out older dog is nearing the end of his time and our doctor understands and advocated for keeping him the most comfortable we can. All our other experiences have always been very positive as well.

It was a fantastic experience. They provided us with a quote so that we were aware of the costs involved beforehand. A technician met with us prior to the procedure and we chose what services we wanted. They are very professional and efficient. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Palmer Veterinary Clinic.

I love Palmers. The women at the front desk are friendly and very helpful. I always feel as though my pet is the most important one there. Every vet I have seen is thorough and positive in helping me to care for my cats. They offer advice as well as taking care of why I'm there. Quite frankly, I wish people doctors were as kind and helpful!

Dr Karen has taken care of Fergir since we got her 7 years ago. From cherry eye surgery at 8 months until our last visit, we are secure in the knowledge that our precious pup has the best care available. Thank you for being the best!

I've recently moved to the area and I always get apprehensive about finding a new vet. This clinic was able to fit me in quickly, and did a great job handling my cat (2.5 yo with anxiety associated aggression issues). The tech who worked with my pet was calm and confident despite her aggressive behavioral display, which is key to keeping her from getting agitated enough to actually attempt a bite or scratch.

There was very little wait time to get checked in, into an exam room, and seen by the vet, which was greatly appreciated not only for managing my anxious cat but also my human baby who had to come along for the appointment. Overall it was a very positive experience.

Palmer Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Sara. the entire TEAM was amazing from the time I called in a panic to make appointment, during the office visit and throughout the hospitalization. They made us feel so welcome to visit our Maddie while she was hospitalized and made sure we were well informed, comfortable with the plan and that all questions were answered. What a TEAM. Thank you all SO MUCH for all you did for us. We are truly impressed with the care our sweet girl received.

I love this clinic, the staff is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything from the steps their going to take to provide the care down to the medication. I had called with an urgent matter just minutes before they closed surprised that they were able to get my dog in for the next morning, definitely recommend this veterinarian clinic.
