Veterinary Medical Associates Providing funds for the emergency care of beloved pets when their owners simply cannot afford to pay. Imagine if your beloved pet suddenly became injured or seriously ill, and your veterinarian said the prognosis was good with proper care, but you simply could not afford to pay for it. Imagine if you were living on a small fixed income or had a low-paying job and there was nothing left over for an emergency. Imagine if nine lives were just not enough for your pet, who is so important to you and your family.
Services
In an effort to help strengthen the human-animal-veterinarian bond, NY SAVE has started a new program, the Hospital Partnership Program, or HPP. It will help us achieve our goal of making sure all New York City pets receive even basic medical care. We all know that situations arise due to unforeseen circumstances, where, due to financial issues, many owners find themselves in need of funding for their pets' care.
Owner must be living at or below the poverty level for New York City as defined: The state limit is $41,100 for a 1-person family and $58,700 for a 4-person family. Owners must live in one of the five boroughs and have proof of New York City residency and income must be demonstrated. Owners must apply and be denied medical emergency funds with Care Credit, ScratchPay, or some other type of credit vehicle.
As a veterinarian you probably make contributions to veterinary institutions and/or human organizations in memory of clients' pets. NY SAVE invites you to join our Pet Memorial Program to help support our mission of funding the costs of emergency veterinary care for pets of New Yorkers unable to pay such expenses themselves.
For many people, it is often difficult to accept a pet's death, and even harder to move past it. A pet memorial gives you a chance to honor a beloved pet, or offer comfort to others who have lost a companion and friend. Many people are touched that someone has taken the time to let them know how much they sympathize by remembering their pet in this special way.

I owe them so much. I was in such a tough position and felt helpless to help my bestfriend. Because of them my cat was able to get the help he needed. I feel like no words can describe how grateful I am to this extraordinary organization. THANK YOU NY SAVE!!!!
