Staten Island Veterinary Group has been open since 1990. We are a modern, fully equipped facility with state of the art equipment and a well trained staff. We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Boarding and grooming services are also available on the premises. We are aware that questions regarding your puppy or kitten often arise.

For every person that is born, 15 dogs and 45 cats are born. Pet overpopulation is a big problem especially in a borough like Staten Island. As these statistics show, in order to help keep up with the current flood of puppies and kittens, every person would have to own two dogs and six cats at all times.

Had our dog Loki's first visit here today. The staff from front desk to doctor are amazing. The ease of making an appointment and professionalism is unlike any of our local vets. Loki was in love with the vet tech, she was patient and extremely kind to him. Everything was explained to us and the doctor showed respect and care; very affordable and clean as well. A true gem we are so glad we found!

Zeke and Zoey love Dr. Kessler. Zoey can be aggressive when fearful but is calmed with whipped cream. The front staff is great and very helpful and the medical assistants are great with the dogs. We are moving out of state but will continue to bring the pups for their check ups at sivg.

First time I brought my eight year old EB to SIV. She had a severe ear infection. She was seen by Dr. Joe and his assistant. He gave her a great exam and his assistant explained thoroughly what we should do to keep her ears clean, We didn't wait long and I would use SIV, and one other thing is Dr. Joe called us three days later to check on Sierra.

Was seen by Dr C.Massa on my visit. She was reasonable and realistic and calmed my fears about pup. The tech and her were both Friendly, funny and compassionate. I Would definitely return for a visit and have recommended to family and Friends.

I absolutely love this vet! So professional and treat their patients like their own pets. Cyrus is the best boy at home, but when it comes to going to the vet he turns into a maniac. Other vets recommend sedated exams, but when I came here they went out of their way to do everything they can to go forward with the visit without sedation and finally treated his ear infection which was amazing. The techs and vets are very sweet and genuine! HIGHLY recommend it here and take all my pets here. Best vet on Staten Island!
