Services
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open; if you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us immediately.
Dr. Annemarie Yoder, owner and veterinarian, is the medical director at Silver Maple. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a B.S. degree in animal science. She then graduated from the State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1987, and became a certified veterinary acupuncturist in 1989.
Kyra has been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 6 years. She grew up in New Tripoli and Kempton, and her mom was one of our very first clients more than 30 years ago! Growing up on a farm Kyra was born and raised to take care of animals. This lead her to the decision to go to school to become a certified veterinary technician.

We are so grateful for the compassion & professional care that was given to Mirabel. She was in need of emergency surgery & you accepted her immediately, even though she wasn't even a patient of yours previously. Thankfully you cared enough in her time of need. Having our fur baby neutered was our first visit at Silver Maple. We switched from a vet that we had used for years that has gone down hill. Our experience with Silver Maple was excellent! The staff was very friendly and took the time to explain things and make sure we understood everything. We definitely found a better and more friendly vet that we will be taking all our furry friends too!

The vet takes EXCELLENT care of your animals - they really do. Staff are caring and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that they need to take fewer patients. Often times if you call looking to make an appointment for your pet you're told they don't have anything available for weeks at a time which really isn't acceptable if you have a sick pet. I think the practice should stop taking new patients until there is more availability for current clients, but keep doing everything else the same!

Thank you to all who helped in making our visit wonderful and stress free. As a cat mom of four, it's always helpful to be able to bring more than one of my kitties to a scheduled appointment. On this visit, your pleasant and kind scheduler was able to accommodate me in bringing three out of my four cats. The fourth kitty isn't due for a visit yet until October. Dr. Kerri Recipko is our favorite veterinarian and her level of compassion is immeasurable.
She always takes the time to make sure my questions are answered. Upon checkout, the office administrator even assisted in helping me carry out one of my cat carriers to the car. I couldn't ask for a better practice to provide the best care for our fur family. Thank you, Silver Maple!

Went to treat my senior cat, got blood tests done for them to tell me they punctured a blood vessel and he now has a blood clot. We find out he has pancreatitis and they barely send any care information home to the point I have to do my own research. Was told I would be emailed more information and still have received nothing. Will never go back to this place and would not recommend taking your senior cat there. The office manager was a coward over the phone and couldn't wait to get off with me.

Everyone here is extremely caring and friendly. I recently had a sick baby bunny and they did everything they could to keep him going for me. I wasn't even a customer of theirs and no one else would a bunny because they are considered exotic. They got me immediately! Unfortunately he didn't make it, he was just too tiny and sick. Would highly recommend this place for your critters! We'll keep going back for my other pets for sure!
