Immediate care is important when your pet has a crisis, so we make every effort to have one of our doctors available for emergency phone consultations. Our phones are answered 24 hours a day. If your pet needs to be seen on an emergency basis, we will assist you with a referral to the nearest emergency clinic and follow up by phone with the doctors there.

Horrible! If I could give no stars I would! Dr. Philips is a rip-off vet and she's only there for money, she could care less about you or your pets! I would highly recommend going somewhere else or asking for another doctor. Will update with details when I have more time. I will say that the vet tech was amazing and very sweet.

For my first visit there with vet tech Heather and Dr Beggs, it was a wonderful experience! Heather was cheerful and very helpful. Dr Beggs was amazingly knowledgeable about sight hounds, especially my Italian Greyhounds. Very pleased with the service and recommendations. He is now our vet of choice. Would definitely recommend this place.

I can say nothing out amazing things about this office, the staff, the techs and the doctors are AMAZING. Called right before they closed because my pup wasn't feeling well and they got me in the very next day. I was shocked at how my options were explained to me as well as pricing. They made sure to check if I was okay with running certain tests and that I knew the cost.
No pushy sales feel at all, 100% would recommend to anyone not only for sick visits but for routine as well! Thanks to everyone at Northpark Animal Hospital for making my experience great!

Absolutely fantastic experience! I was scared to death to have my pup, Alex Madison, go through TPLO surgery, but North Park Animal Hospital did an amazing job! It's been 5 weeks now and the incision healed beautifully, my puppy is on drugs but happy LOL. And her recovery is coming along well. Total 5 Star experience to see my dog walking again

I am super happy with this vet office. Each time I've needed to have my dog seen they have been able to get me an appointment really quickly. The vet that we had each time is knowledgeable, not pushing unnecessary tests/procedures/meds on me, and is good with my dog. He sits on the floor and gives lots of treats so my dog Moose isn't too scared to be there!

Having recently moved to the area I needed a new vet. Up until today I thought they were a little pricey for the services rendered, I understand that they are a business and have to turn a profit, they are also AHA accredited. However. my wife had asked them to follow up with pricing to spay my cat a few days ago, and they never called with the information.
The morning of the appointment my wife showed up with our cat and was told the cost of the spay was to be $775.11 I about fell out of my seat when she told me. She felt that seeing as the appointment was already made and she had already driven out there, that their was not much that she could do and said okay. I contacted several highly rated vets around the Kingwood area and pricing varied from $185 to $499 for a spay.
Now to add insult to injury, they called me to let me know my cat made it through surgery ok, and that the bill was $809! I've no idea what they are billing for now. This seems astronomical for this service. We won't be utilizing them again, I reccomend you shop around for a vet. AHA certified or not, any vet worth their salt should provide excellent care of your forever friend. Sorry but I don't care if you are AHA certified, I care if you went to veterinary school and passed!

This was my first visit to Northpark Animal Hospital and the staff is so very friendly and so caring and compassionate about the animals brought in. Visiting a vet for the first time with your loving pet makes you nervous but their friendly staff and the christian music playing immediately put me at peace. I was more than happy with their service and will definitely be going back and I do recommend them for the treatment and compassionate care of your loving pets! Michelle G.

First time brining my pup to Northpark Animal Hospital and we had a great experience. The staff made sure my boy was comfortable at all times. They double checked the services with me before doing anything and explained in detail each item before giving it to my dog. I highly recommend bringing your fur baby to Northpark Animal Hospital if you want them well taken care of.

Vet was wonderful. I was in with a dog that had an unknown source of internal bleeding. The vet was very supportive and had a logical approach to chasing the problem that also acknowledged and respected my financial constraints. Options were very clearly explained and discussed. I would highly recommend them!

New to the area and we have a beloved, but elderly mini dachshund, with some health issues. This staff has been so amazing: scheduling works Trixie in when she needs help; the techs are very skilled in getting a detailed history and treat her with such care; the doctors listen and discuss options for treating Trixie- based on her problems with each visit. Overall- both of us, my pet and myself, are treated with kindness & respect!

Yesterday was my first time to Northpark Animal Hospital, and I was really impressed. My dog was feeling ill so I called, being new to the area, and even though they were DOUBLE BOOKED and did not know me, they got me in almost immediately. The staff was friendly and Dr. Beggs was very professional and straightforward. My pup is feeling much better! I will definitely be returning in the future and hope to make this my "home" vet office!

When we moved to Kingwood from out of state, I was nervous about finding a new veterinarian. After contacting several, we ultimately chose NPAH after a spontaneous rescue experience when we brought in a stray puppy. They were the only vet that was able to see us that day, and I'm SO happy they could. The kindness of the first person I talked with on the phone, to the knowledgeable and professional Dr. Beggs, made us completely comfortable to bring our own dogs too!
We have seen most of the vets here now, and they are all phenomenal. I ask a ton of questions, and especially appreciate their patient and educational response. Any visits other than routine, the vet will follow up to check on how our dogs are doing. Absolutely high quality care. Our dogs are leash reactive to other dogs, and the staff is understanding and accommodating at working with us to get them right into a room etc. to make the experience as low stress for everyone as possible. Cost wise, average (but really, priceless :)!). They accept Care Credit which is a blessing to us. Can't recommend NPAH highly enough!

Tried to order prescription dog food today. I have a valid prescription from my vet who unfortunately does carry that specific brand. I called Northpark Animal Hospital and they refused to sell the food unless they my dog was a patient there. Really? Sounds like just a ploy to get extra $$$. Now I know why people mail order now.

Just moved to the area and my senior old lady was trembling and feeling under the weather. Got a same day appointment and was taken care of. Excellent service and very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend this animal hospital! They also board and I can't wait to leave my fur babies here next trip because I know they will be in the best hands.

Dr. Beggs and the Northpark team are fantastic. The office is always clean, front desk is friendly and helpful, and Dr. Beggs is by far the best vet we've ever gone to for our two fur babies (large dog and chubby cat). Dr. Beggs is extremely knowledgeable, great with all animals, and takes his time. We never feel rushed and he answers all our questions.
He even calls us on the weekends to make sure our dog Oakley is doing ok (problem child always getting sick or being a diva about something). Oakley actually likes going to the vet and she LOVES Dr. Beggs! Thank you Northpark Animal Hospital!

I was referred to Dr. Hebert by a good friend when I moved to the area. I was very happy by the wonderful care and service I received here each and every time. The lobby is clean, the staff friendly and helpful. I never have a wait for scheduled appointments and we're put into a room almost immediately. Even when we've dropped in for emergencies we've been seen quickly. Dr. Hebert is the best vet we've ever had from diagnosing and treating our pets ailments to his bedside manner with both them and our family. Thank you Dr. Hebert & God bless you.

Took my dog here a while back for a regular check up. That was fine, but I chose to take our business elsewhere after trying to order online heartworm meds. Northpark refused to approve the online order. Their rationale was that the quality of online meds can't be guaranteed "they can come from China", even if they're the same brand they sell at the vet. Of course the meds at the vet are twice the price. I've never encountered a vet that won't approve or at least price match online meds.

I really hate to do this, but the customer service here has just REALLY gone down hill. I made a reservation on August 27 to board my cats for a week so that I could go on vacation. The lady that took my reservation over the phone said that she would call me before my reservation started to remind me. Ok, fast forward to September 17, the day before my reservation starts.
I did not receive contact of any kind. However, I called them out of courtesy to amend my reservation time and ask if they needed ANYTHING before I dropped off my cats the next day. The lady over the phone said they didn't need anything and that she could get my records transferred from my vets office. The next day, September 18, the day I leave for vacation and my reservation starts, I go to drop off my cats at 11:30 in the morning.
As soon as I arrive, the receptionist gives me a drop off form to sign. Then a vet tech comes in behind her and slaps my vet records on the desk, saying that I need to have X, Y, and Z vaccines updated while my cats are boarded if they are going to be allowed to stay while I'm gone. I was very surprised and upset because no one called to notify me about anything!
On top of that, they wanted to charge me over $450 for shots! I called NPAH at 7 am the previous morning to inquire about this and in over 24 hours they couldn't let me know? I literally had to put my cats back in my car, drive to my vet's office and BEG the receptionist to squeeze 3 cats in for emergency exams and vaccines all before the only vet on call went home for the day. Luckily I was able to have all my cats examined and shots updates for only $150. Afterwards, I drove back to NPAH and finally dropped off my cats at 3:00.
I handed the same lady all the paperwork from my vet proving my cats health and they were accepted. I even told them to call me if ANYTHING happened. Ok, fast forward to September 25, the last day of my reservation. I called NPAH in the morning to let them know I'm coming to pick up my cats and asked how they were doing. The lady (a different one) said the cats were fine and hung up.
I came in at 1:00 to pick up my cats and the receptionist handed me a bill for almost $700! I asked why the bill was so high. She pulls out a calculator and casually mentions that the cats had to be examined as a mandatory requirement because they hadn't been seen recently; $54/per cat, she says. That's ANOTHER charge and service they failed to mention.
I estimated the boarding was going to be around $450 + tax. But the vet charged an extra $160 on top of that and didn't mention it. I paid my bill because they forced me into a corner. I had NO TIME to make alternate arrangements for my cats, I had to get my cats examined TWICE just to board them, and NPAH failed on three separate occasions to even communicate necessary information to me about the well being of my cats and the charges. Overall, I am VERY disappointed in Northpark Animal Hospital.
I mean for goodness sake, I adopted one of my cats from them and this is how I get treated? I don't think I will be returning here ever again. The clerks lack even basic communication skills and the services are too overpriced.

We brought our puppy, Riley to see Dr. Hebert last week not even knowing if he would make it through the day. This doctor was so knowledgeable, kind and went to work immediately on Riley. Our puppy was there for five days. During this time the entire staff was amazing. Dr. Hebert called along with the staff to update us up to three times a day. Riley is home and feeling great thanks to Dr. Hebert. Look no further, drive miles if needed to come to Northgate Veterinarian.

I am so happy with this vet, Dr. Hebert, and all the staff in the office. Our dog got very sick this weekend. They got him in right away, were thorough in the exam, and were straightforward with explaining the treatment plan options, including costs, upfront. They seemed to genuinely care about our dog. Because of the treatment he needed, our dog stayed there over the weekend, and Dr. Hebert called us during the weekend to update us on our dog's condition and progress.
We felt confident in this office's ability to help our dog get well, and we are appreciative of the excellent care he (and we) received there. This vet and staff treat pets and people very well!

I received a personal phone call from the owner of Northpark animal hospital apologizing for the Incident on Monday. I considered the apology very heart felt and sincere. Due to this I have decided to change my original rating from a negative one to a neutral one. I literally just got scammed by this vet. I brought in a stray dog in to have it scanned for a chip.
I was then led to believe that they could look after the dog while I was at work for free. Turns out I was wrong. They tried to charge me $90 for meds and an isolation fee. When I said I didn't want to pay it they then added on an additional fee that they had forgotten about. I was just trying to do the right thing but instead I got stuck with a $113 bill. Never coming back here again. The managers are cold blooded.

We have been using Northpark Animal since 2001 when we moved into this area. They have always been professional, kind, with good service. Friendly to our dogs, and understanding and supportive when we had to say our good byes to a couple of them. We have compared process a few times over the years, to other vets. in the area, and they are basically the same.
We have also compared the price they charge for meds. To others, and for those like heart worm and such, to online providers. It had always been within a few dollars. Any time one of our furry friends needed surgery, they were always spot on, with as good an outcome add could be expected. We have never had any complaints, multiple pets are just expensive. I highly recommend this facility.

The quality of care received here is exemplary! Dr. O'Hara took wonderful care of my daughters puppy with early diagnosis of parvo sending him to the hospital and then caring for him after the weekend he saw him through and he's happy and healthy now. I would recommend them to everyone the entire staff is just lovely!

Dr. Hebert has an incredible staff and has taken great care of 4 of our dogs, most recently saved our retriever puppy from parvovirus. Over the past 20+ years, he has saved two of our other dogs via surgery for bowel obstructions so he is now 3-0 on my scoreboard. I won't take my pets anywhere else ever again.
