Let me start of by saying that when it comes to the vet care, I didn't have any issues. I have a mini goldendoodle that I started taking there since he was 8 weeks old. At around 5 months I started getting him groomed there. He's been there multiple times since. He's always been dropped off at 8 am and ready for pick no later than noon. Today, he had an appointment, and as always got dropped off at 7:50 am.
When I dropped him off I made sure he peed before going in. Before I left I asked if he was going to be ready before noon, I was assured that he would "more than likely" be ready before noon since he was one of the first ones there. At 12:30 pm, I hadn't heard from them so I called. They told me that it would still be another 1.5 hours before he was done.
By 12:30 pm they still hadn't started his grooming. I told them not to bother and went to pick him up. My dog isn't used to being locked up in a kennel that long. I don't understand what the point of having him there since 8 am is only to have him locked up! The groomer told me he took him out, yet as soon as I walked out the door my dog was desperate to relieve himself.
I know my dog, and I know for a fact, regardless of what they said, he was not taken out during his time there. To make matters worse, as soon as we made it home, he ran straight to his water bowl and drank all of his water. So, he was kept in a kennel, wasn't let out, and had no water, and all of this for nothing because he didn't even get groomed!
This is clearly the standard for animals in their care because when I complained about this to them, their response was that my dog would be kenneled no matter where I took him. I refuse to continue giving my business to a place that treats my dog this way.

**update**(1/29/22) We took our elderly dog here to say our goodbyes. They gave us all of the time we needed, options for memorializing and taking home, and they were kind and gentle. Good prices as well. A very comfortable place to say goodbye. Thank you! ------------------------------------------ The staff here were so helpful and kind with me and a family dog who desperately needed attention.
The staff here are specialists with ER experience. They have an association with Adopt A Rescued Friend (AARF) organization and they help with their medical needs and bills as much as they can. There is a fund for AARF at the clinic you can donate to if you'd like. I will be using them in the future for sure!

They seemed nice but just wish they would have told me upfront about all the different fees they were charging me for. Went in to have my dogs eye checked and they said my dog needed vaccines and eye stain, antibiotics and I needed flea medicine but had to buy 3 months since they wouldn't sell a one month supply. At least I don't have to worry about vaccines and flea medicine for a while.

Eastex Veterinary Hospital in Humble took such great care of my two Foster Babies, Amber and Hershey, today during their spay/neuter. This is the second time the Rescue sent me to Eastex with my Fosters for surgery and I'm so impressed (again) with the care and treatment these sweet babies received today. They seem comfortable, not in a bit of pain, no bruises or marks on either one.
When I picked them up tonight, the staff was so great. They took the time to explain everything about the procedures they did, explained the after-care instructions and medications in detail, patiently answered all of my questions and I never felt rushed. The written after-care instructions I received are clear and concise - which is great because, I don't know about you but, I always forget half of what they told me by the time I get home. They are home and resting comfortably. I'm so grateful!

My cat injured his eye and my vet couldn't see him for another week, so I contacted this office. I'm so grateful I did! They not only squeezed me in same day but the staff was what sold me. Carrie (I hope I spelled it right) answered my call and it was like talking to an old friend, so personable and helpful. Dr Koll was super sweet and considerate.
She knows her stuff and isn't looking to "take you to the bank." This vet has a family feel and is "old school honest". I would trust them to care for my fur family without any hesitation. Thank you very much Eastex Veterinary!

I brought my Chiquita in to the Eastex Veterinary Clinic in Humble today for a nail trim. The staff was wonderful. I got the appointment on short notice. They met me at the front door and carried her inside. And just a few short minutes later they returned with her and we were done. They said she did really well even without me in there with her. Only $16 for the service and believe me it's worth that!
