We specialize in personal care and look forward to giving you and your pets the time and resources required for routine vaccinations and exams, many kinds of surgery, and in-house lab testing for immediate results and diagnosis. We are equipped for Surgery, X-Ray and Ultrasound Diagnosis. We are capable of performing many of the services you would receive from a referral hospital with personal local convenience.

Our mutual goal is to provide the same medical care to pets that we would like to receive from our own health care providers. To this end, we schedule half hour (or longer) appointments for wellness and medical exams. Serving our clients, meeting with pharmaceutical representatives, working alongside a visiting surgeon or diagnosing a case, our days are filled with variations of the same theme: caring for pets and the people who love them.
Jacqueline (Jacqie) Lamb serves as the Partner-Co-Owner of the Manchester Animal Hospital. Her experience with animal care has been diversified and her experiences provides the Hospital with the in- depth care shared by patients and clients alike. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Zoology and while attending UNH she operated her own farm.
At Manchester Animal Hospital, we offer a variety of services to care for your pet. If you have any questions or would like more information on how we can care for your pet, please contact us today. Our staff will get a chance to talk to you and see if you are having any trouble with your pet. We will also go over diet, preventative medicine, and exercise to ensure that your pet is as healthy as possible.
Admission to the clinic for surgery and medical care is by appointment between 9:00 and 9:30 am. Visiting hospitalized pets is encouraged when it will provide an emotional asset to patient and client. Instructions and recommendations for admission are made before your visit. Common instructions include fasting prior to the administration of anesthesia and before some lab tests.

Having been brought up with dogs and having dogs during 62 years of marriage, experienced more than on Veterinarian for the care of one, or multiple at times.
Dr. Lamb, is hands on for all visits and very caring, gentle and explicit with his observations and treatment/s.
Our last Doberman's life was extended wit h his observation and exam of cancer much to our joy as we were both cancer survivors.
Dog's behaviors tell/indicate their acceptance of others and I now have a 10Lb. Chi- weenie (recently adopted) who is ready to be seen by the practice when driving into the parking lot.

Dr. Lamb came to my home in Manchester at my request when it was time to euthanize my 17 year old cat and my 14 year old lab/shepherd mix dog. This is a horribly painful thing to have to do but that's how it goes I guess when you are a pet owner. My dog lasted two more years after my cat was gone. He was in horrible pain from arthritis and other unknown ailments but he was so happy to see Dr. Lamb that he got up and wagged his tail and greeted him happily.
His death at home was as good a death as could be. He left this earth in his own home, surrounded by loved ones who were cuddling him and feeding him his favorite treats, with a vet who he felt comfortable and happy with in the room. It is never an easy decision to make but at least if you have a kind and trusted veterinarian in your home it's not as cold and clinical as it could be. Thank you Dr. Lamb. You made one of the hardest days of our lives a little less hard with your calm and kind demeanor.
