Called to get some information to help with my sister in laws dog financially, and I was put on hold, then I was placed into a voice mail/answering machine type thing. I left my name and number, the name of the dog and the owner and I never got a call back. Not even to tell me they couldn't talk to me. Definitely glad I don't take my animals here.

We took out cat here to be fixed because we saw how good the reviews were 1st, After surgery they provided too small of a protection cone so our cat ended up reaching and licking the surgery area almost creating a bad infection once the meds wore off overnight, we went back and got a bigger cone and everything was ok 2nd, She came home with fleas - we have no other pets in the house and she never goes outside, we noticed the sudden increase of scratching and thought it was just the cone bothering her, once we took the cone off post surgery we used a comb and found 16 fleas in the neck area Maybe that's our fault for her not wearing a flea collar, but that begs the question of what they do to the cat when she's in recovery, shared cage? This would be 1 star if it wasn't for the friendly Vets and they really seemed to care for sure - they also responded to emails quickly

My name is Bunny Boo and I was taken good care of by the staff at Shelton. Dr. Lori was very caring, along with the tech helping. I would recommend this friendly and caring veterinarian to anyone.

A dog wandered up to my house and they were kind enough to check him for a chip which he did not have. Everyone was very nice and willing to pass on the information of this lost dog.

Wish I could take stars away. Extremely terrible vet and communication. My dog has epilepsy and I was in need to a new scrip for her medication. It took them THREE days to get the scrip called in. 3days to call in an order of medicine my dog desperately needs in order to not have seizures. I absolutely hate this vet and everyone who works there. Disgrace to animal lovers everywhere. They DO NOT CARE about your animals. Just their bottom line.

0 STARS. I don't understand how anyone can take their pets here. I've never been to a more unprofessional, unorganized doctors or vets office In my life! They always act like they are too busy for you and that you're a burden. Extremely rude people, run down building out in the middle of no where. Garbage establishment. If you're someone thinking of taking your pet here please don't! And if you work at the office I hope you read this and feel bad, you are an embarrassment to REAL veterinarians everywhere!

When I turned 18 my wish since I was kid was granted!; almost all my allergies were gone. including dogs! I always wanted, not a pet dog- more of a brother dog. Ended up rescuing two kids. I was blessed to have daisy girl in my life. She went to early. As a first time dad during a hard time; I felt Sheltons staff and veterinarian really cared and handled everything very well. -Thank y'all.

Superb! Shelton Veterinary Clinic in Interlachen is a modern, very well staffed place to bring your pet in this rural part of Florida. First impression was finding the people were kind and caring of my cat and all the pets that entered. Secondly, the knowledge, compassion and professionalism from our veterinarian, Lori Wendland, DVM gave us the feeling that our family was in good hands. Referrals to specialists came quickly because of Dr. Lori's intervention. The facilities are immaculate and equipment is state of the art. Long time patients attested to the continuing high level of care.
