Our state-of-the-art surgical suite allows us to perform many surgical procedures right at the clinic. We also have excellent relationships with advanced specialty referral institutions. Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental radiographs, tooth extractions, periodontal treatments, and oral reconstructive surgery.

Cave Spring Veterinary Clinic is accredited by The American Animal Hospital Association. The AAHA is the only organization to accredit companion veterinary hospitals. AAHA accredited hospitals hold themselves to a higher standard; pets are their passion, and keeping them healthy is their top priority.
Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. We maintain excellent relationships with multiple advanced specialty referral institutions enabling access to the most advanced surgical procedures. Anesthesia: We use the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients.
By three years of age, most dogs and cats have some level of dental disease. Your pet's dental health will be evaluated at every wellness examination and the doctor will talk to you about recommendations for good oral health for your pet, including details for a dental procedure if needed. After a proper dental procedure, many pet owners report the emergence of a "whole new pet"-one who is happier and more active.
Doctors hours are by appointment. Appointment times are set aside daily for ill pets that may need to be seen promptly. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority followed by patients with previously scheduled appointments. It is also possible to drop your companion off with us if your schedule is not compatible with an available appointment time.

I needed an appointment ASAP because my cat was peeing blood and I incidentally passed by this place and thought I'd call and see if they had availability. I was quickly scheduled in. My appointment was with Dr. Jessica Kraft who was beyond phenomenal. We were scheduled in quickly, the veterinary techs were quick to room us and perform the initial assessment, and Dr. Kraft came in and discussed the different options for management.
This is my 4th Veterinary visit and I'd say she is hands down the my favorite. Our visit was short and sweet but covered everything. Thank you to the whole team that assisted us!

I've recently relocated to this area and needed to find a vet for my beloved pets. I am completely happy with the service provided by Cave Spring Veterinary Clinic. My dog needed a re-check after an Emergency Clinic visit, and even though I was completely new to CSVC, they got me in within 3 days. The office staff is friendly and efficient. KJ the veterinary technician who took care of Moochie's intake was professional and friendly - Moochie did not hesitate to go along with this "stranger" to get his vital signs checked.
And Dr. Carras was great! Thorough and communicative. He explained all findings and what the next steps were to bring my boy to perfect help. All in all, this is a great veterinary practice.and AAHA certified too!

I took my baby girl Autum for the first time to see Dr. McCoy. He was so personable and very attentive to her. He explained everything and took so much time with us and made me feel like she was the most important pet he saw that day. He was patient and extremly kind. The whole experiance for both of us was very positive. Autum is getting up there in age and i am so glad I made the decision to take her here.
I am comfortable that she will be taken good care of in her geriatric years. The staff was so kind and I thank them all for their hard work and effort to make sure all fur babies get the best care ever!

We love Cave Springs Veterinary. All the staff are friendly and love the pets they provide care for. You could not ask for a better group of Doctors. Dr. Hairfield is fantastic with our Sassie Rose. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this clinic. Everyone there is so nice and truly love their job!!!! They all have been so great to my two dogs and myself!!!! Dr. McCoy is so caring!!! He really explains situations clearly and helps you make the right decision in your animal’s health!!!! As long as I have fur babies they will have a dedicated customer

Everyone is professional, courteous, attentive and loves their work. They give excellent quality care. And treat your pet like their own, going over and above. Like calling to check-in on your pet or sending emails and texts to check or wish a happy birthday. I feel so confident and assured with Lukey, our diabetic Yorkshire Terrior, in their care.

I want to tell everyone how wonderful cave spring vet has been to my fur family. And gave me encouragement to believe in Dr McCoy who didn’t give up on one of my pups. She’s 15 and my baby and he was so kind and passionate about her care. He takes the time he needs and doesn’t hurry you off. He is Genuine with his love and compassion for your fur babies. I’m so glad he took the time to give her the care she needed I honestly thought we was losing her. Now she is sassy and arguing with me. You are the best. And all the staff is so kind and helpful. I just used this vet for the first time this week, and I must say they are BEYOND amazing! I took one of my more people fearful dogs (large breed 90+ lbs) and they did an absolutely phenomenal job with him. They respected his boundaries and actually listened to his body language. All of the staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable about what they were doing.
And Dr. McCoy was the nicest vet I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I’ve already made the appointment to have my other animals cared for by them! 10/10 would recommend!!
